"Harrison!" I reached over and snatched my phone out of his hand, heart beating in fear. Haz giggled at the terrified expression on my face as I began rummaging through my luggage again.

I sighed in defeat. It's been 30 minutes of continuous searching and Y/N's charm bracelet is nowhere to be found.

"Do you think you might've left it in the Montreal pad? If it's not here then that's where it has to be," Haz suggested, lazily slouched into a loveseat, feet kicked up on another just opposite, as he munched on a bag of veggie crisps, "I don't know anyone who would've known about your expensive arse necklace being in the bag anyway."

"Bracelet," I sternly corrected. I rolled my eyes as he rose his hands in playful surrender. A few seconds of silence fell over us, before Haz opened his mouth to speak again. Here we go again.

"Why are you always so protective of your phone? What's in there??" He chuckled, "you know I can already imagine the loads of kinky porn loaded into your video storage!"

"Fuck you," I hissed. "It isn't porn," I defended, "as a matter of fact I know you'd have more on yours than I do."

His face beamed with a surprised look. "Thomas!" He sighed, "don't be a little arse and change the subject."

Then his face beamed with idea. Oh no.
"Y/N'S NUDES."

"HAHA YOU WISH," I bursted, almost busting a rib as I fell over.

"It has to have something to do with Y/N or else you wouldn't be losing your minddddd," He teased, "cause everybody knows that..

you're in luuuuuuuv."

A bright blush took over my cheeks as I shuffled in discomfort. Just the thought of her rises my blood pressure levels - in the best way possible. Except, my heart drops when we're hundreds of miles apart from each other - like we are now.

With no sense of mercy, Haz continued the wild tease fest. "Don't tell me you do lady shit like write love poems and going-away letters."

I suddenly tensed at his words, finding it too late to take my reaction back.
Shit. He's right. Take back your reaction, Thomas Holland. Recover and act like you didn't react at all!
My throat tensed up as I tried to speak. Nerves kicked into my system at full force as I tried my best -and failed- at hiding my secr-

"I KNEW IT," he shouted in recognition, "YOU'RE MOVIE STAR BY DAY AND LADY SHAKESPEARE BY NIGHT!"
"Shut up!" I huffed in defeat. "Don't tell Y/N, Haz. Please. Please," I begged.

Haz fell hysterical at my desperateness as he kicked his legs off the seat. "Chill! You're mad, you know that?"

I scrunched my face in protest. "How??"

"You're in love! Obviously! Why don't you just tell her you love her? Finally tell her that you love her already!?"

Wait- how does he know I haven't said "it" yet?
"How do you know I haven't told her?"

"Y/N. Who else? Someone's forgetting that we're in the same circle of friends. 😌"

"Well you don't know how nerve wracking it feels to be in my place."

"How nerve wracking is it to confess your love to the girl you love? You obviously love her. It's so obvious. It's incredible, actually. You're usually so good at hiding everything else, but you're absolute shit at hiding how you feel about her."
