Emily seemed to be different the day she walked into the barn. It was a chilly September day. She got my saddle and groomed and tacked me, before leading me into a trailer, something she had shown me not to long ago. I climbed in without hesitation. Several other horses my age were led in, then it started to move. After about ten minutes they got us all out, and Victor mounted me. He started to warm me up. Then they led me out onto a large track with lots of people screaming my name. They loaded me into a gate and I took a deep breath. I can do this, its easy. I thought to myself as the gates broke open and I sprang forward. My long legs easily carried me over the firm track, and before I knew it I was passing the finish line with second place being three lengths behind.

I know its not long but I'm typing on solely a phone now. So...))
