A month after Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding I was home with Zaheer and watching him train with Lao. They stopped after awhile and Lao left to go see Tenzin. Zaheer walked into the house and hugged me from behind.

"How was training?" I asked happily.

"It was good.... our son asked me a great question that I couldn't seem to answer." He said with a laugh.

"What was it?" I asked with a smile.

"Why we aren't married."

I dropped the dish I had and turned to see him looking at me softly.

"I'll talk to him and..... tell him that not all people are married." I said softly.

"Or.... well you could say yes." He said with a smile.

"Yes to what?" I asked confused.

I saw him smile before he handed me a long box. I sent him a small smile before I opened it to see a betrothal necklace. I put my hand to my mouth as tears streamed down my face.

"I told you that I would make you my wife after everything was over..... so will you marry me?" He asked with a smile.

I quickly laid it down before jumping up and kissing him happily. He smiled into the kiss and pulled me closer before pulling away.

"I'll take that as a yes." He said softly.

"It is a yes." I whispered happily.

I felt him slip the necklace around my neck and then he kissed me once more before Lao came home and we told him. I first told Lin and Suyin then I told Bolin.

"So your marrying him.... why?" He asked in anger.

"Because I love him and he has changed." I said softly.

"Yea but what about me.... what about how I'm in love with you?" He asked sadly.

"Six years I have waited for you to say those words, but now I've moved on and I love Zaheer.... not you." I said walking away.

It was a week before the wedding and we had it at the south water tribe where Katara could marry us. After the wedding I went to the reception to see my mother. I sighed as I walked over to her.

"Who's there?" She asked confused.

"It's me Suva." I said softly as I took her hand and cleared the ground around us.

"Thanks." She said softly.

I sighed as I closed my eyes for a second.

"Congratulations..... on the marriage I hope he treats you right." She said smiling softly at me.

I smiled at her as I gave her a small hug and then walked over to Zaheer and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you." He said smiling at me.

"I know.... I love you more." I said hugging him.

He kissed my head before smiling at me. I turned on his arms to see Lao playing with Korra.

"How about we have another one?" He asked with a smirk.

I looked up at him and gave him a quick kiss before leaving to ask Tenzin if he could watch Lao for a week. After he said he could I quickly grabbed my husband and left with him for our honeymoon.

"So about having another kid..... do you want to?" He asked with a smile.

"What do you think we are doing?" I asked kissing him once more.

After nine months I gave birth to our baby girl who we named Yu. We would have three more after her and Zaheer would live for fifty years before he passed.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." Asami said softly.

"He is still with me.... in my heart..... also I am sorry for your loss.... I miss Korra also but soon a new avatar will take her place.... a earthbender." I said calmly.

"I know we already found him he is Bolin's grandson." She said smiling at me.

"I'm happy for him and I know he would be also." I said softly.

"They want you to train him."

" I know and I'm on my way." I said as I walked to Ap.

"Are you really ready?" She asked me softly.

"Yes.... he needs someone he trusts..... and I was the Avatar's protector and friend." I said with a smile.

I would train him until he learned how to waterbender for two year and then almost three years after I passed away in my sleep one morning.

"Hello love." A voice said behind me.

I turned to see Zaheer like he was when we first met.

"I missed you so much." I said as I hugged him.

"I was always with you and I see you trained the new avatar.... always having to protect them don't you?" He asked with a laugh.

I smiled as I hugged him and kissed him softly before a light engulfed us.

"Suva promise me that when I die if you are still alive you will train the next Avatar." Korra said smiling at me.

"Of course I promise for as long as I live I will help the Avatar..... and I will be their friend." I said smiling at her happily.

"Also if Mako or Bolin are still alive make sure they don't get the new avatar killed." She said with a smile.

"I will also if I die..... before you promise that no matter what you will live on..... I don't want the person I see as my sister dead." I said hugging her.
