It was dark still but this time the darkness spread around me with inviting warmth. It was a nice soothing warmth, my head bobbing a little,
Bobiddy, bobiddy, boo.
WAIT!!!
I was moving, as if running and jumping, as well as flying, even soaring. I couldn't see...
My eyes weren't open, so that's why it was so dark.
I tried to open them but the felt like leaded weights. It was to exhausting to try.
THUMP
I must have been dropped or something of the such because I wasn't moving anymore.
I felt fingertips caress my cheek, it stung and I winced.
"Sorry Marinette, I didn't mean to hurt you" CHAT?!?!
The hands tilted my face seamingly looking for something.
Chat grabbed my wrists and tilted them over,
"!!!!, what is this Marinette...?" He whispered in shock.
I still couldn't see but I felt the pain, radiating off him like a light. I imagined his eyes open wide in shock and horror.
"W-what is it? What's wrong?" I was worried now, what could he see.
"Marinette open your eyes" he grabbed my face and touched my eyelids, he had such gentle hands.
"Chat I can't, their too heavy" he opened my eyes m, forcefully. I guess his hands weren't so gentle after all.
The sun was too bright, the light stung my eyes. The world was blue. I blinks once, twice.
We were on a roof, a flat piece of roof but roof all the same.
Chat popped his head into my view, blocking out the scorching sun on the process.
"Marinette, can you sit up for me, if you need support there's a chimney behind you" he looked but I couldn't think of any reason why.
I pulled my right leg up and placed my hands behind me to push myself up.
"Ouch" the cement on the roof was to hot to handle, from being exposed to the sun all day. Although my left leg also had a throbbing pain in it.
I sat myself up, closing my eyes in the strain of doing so. I tried to pull my left leg up, but doing so caused such a pain.
Like someone slowly putting pressure on my leg then finally snapping it in two.
"UUNNGGHH" I muddled a scream.
It hurt like a thousand fire ants, biting a stinging me.
"Marinette, just bare with it for now, ok. Now just sit up" he was helping me now, pulling my leg up for me.
I finished the process of sitting up after a long 5 minutes, my body must have been in shock because I was starting to hyperventilate.
"Marinette calm down please and let me look at your leg" he demanded of me.
I calmed myself and breathed once more.
"Chat, what's going on, you seem really worried" I looked him in the eye.
"AND YOUR NOT" he seemed angry and he scared me.
Tears started falling down my face.
"What was that for" I whispered.
He looked shocked and slapped himself for being an idiot.
"I'm sorry Marinette I just... look at your leg" he put his head don looking at my leg.
Actually more assessing my leg.
I peaked down and immediately say red, a dark red.
I quickly put my head back up,
"Please don't tell me that's what I think it is" tears started to form at the side of my face.
"Calm down, I'll have a look at it. You can look at it with me but don't freak ok."
I looked down again to see my jeans covered in wet, hot, gooey blood.
It was disgusting, but where was it coming from.
Chat ripped my jeans open, leaving me with one leg of jean.
And what I saw made me go as pale as a ghost, as pale as a white piece of paper, as pale as the colour white.
A gapping whole in the middle of my thigh.
Exposing my muscle, it wasn't as deep as the bone but it was still deep enough to scratch the muscle.
How... how did I get this,
"How, what happened" I whispered barely audible.
"Marinette, why did you jump" I could see tears forming, right in the corner of his left eye.
His eye turning a brighter green from the gloss of the tear.
"I-I don't want to say, there's a few reasons but I really can't say them right now" I dropped my head disappointed in myself. He touched my chin pulling my head up, he looked me in the eye and told me,
"If you need anything, anything at all call me. I'll be right there for you. Scream my name out in the dark, whisper it to yourself, I will come and find you for better or worse.
I was shaken from these words, so few people had ever said this to me. So few people, and no one but him will say it to me from this day forward.
"Marinette, hard ships are at sail from now on, but if you fight the current, one day, one day you'll have the best life out of all of us" he looked determined, I guess he didn't want me just giving up the way I want to.
"That may be try it may be a lie, you never know how things will turn out"
I looked him right in the eye, and his face lite up,
"Exactly Marinette, you never know how it will turn out" he was jumping up and down in a crouching position, he was jumping very close to me and might of, just accidently put his hand on the big gaping hole in my leg,
"AARRGGHH" I screamed, it pierced the ears of Chat and myself.
"Shit it's bleeding out, we need to get you to hospital, I'll take you but I'm gonna be slower than usual so I don't how long you'll have to wait".
I just nodded, thinking good thoughts, and not of the pain.
Chat picked me up and started running, and God's heaven above that hurt.
My eyes dropped and the world turned black.
Please not again...
