Lost soul

Lana's POV

It was like 2 or 3 in the morning, I couldn't sleep but sadly Alan was asleep as always, which now makes me even more bored.

I'd wake him up but he sleep like an angel, but since I don't really care, I shake him to find out that Alan was actually a dummy.
I now tilt my head and have many questions in my head.

"Where did he go?.." I muttered as I grab my phone and check his Snapchat to find an image of the time with the captions, "A sad soul is always awake past midnight", which now concerns me.

I decide to call him, hoping he would pick up, which happily he picked up!

"Hm?" He asked.

"Where are you?" I rub my nose to hear him suddenly cry.

"I'm so sorry, Lana." He said as I got off my bed grabbing my flashlight, "Wait, wait, where are you, why are you sorry?" I said as he just hanged up.

That now makes me paranoid, I went running to the kitchen to press the alarm from when there's an emergency.

It rang loudly, I saw Dale and the others with some backpacks ready, "What's wrong?" Eli asked still sleepy.

"Alan's gone, he's crying and sorry for something!" I reply seeing Toby's expression change from sleepy to a "holy shit" face.

"We need to find him!" Dale said as Sally opened the door quickly turning on her flashlight.

"Ok, ok, Sally, you're with Toby, Eli you're alone since you have magnificent ways to search and Dale'a with me." I said as everyone nodded and ran in different directions.

"Come on, we need to find him!" Dale said putting me on his back as I hold my flashlight in my mouth shine the way.

"Why did he run off?" He asked as I shrugged.

We then go to a stop after hearing a scream, and it sounded like Sally.
"What was that?!" I squeak as Dale dropped me pointing to his direction.

There was a hunched figure standing there, eating something, "Slowly back away.." Dale whispered as we both backed up, I stupidly stepped on a twig causing it to look at us.

We screamed and ran as fast as we could.

Eli's POV

I was paranoid.
Why would Alan run off like this, especially at this time, nothing good happens after 2:00am!

"Shh." Sally whispered as Toby and I stood still flashing our light everywhere, we then hear two screams.
"Lana and Dale!" I shouted, and before we knew it, we heard some chuckles.

We turned around to find no one there, we turn again to then find a group of 7 men, I would say some of them are rapists and the others are murderers.

"Well, well, well, we have a treat!" Said the man from the back. "If you want them, you'll go through me." Sally said, glaring at them. "Ah, David, I gotcha a feisty one!" Said another man wearing a mask.

We all stood there just keeping quiet when suddenly... "Lana, Lana, Lana, drop the bat!" We saw Dale coming from behind chasing Lana as she began to hit one of the men with it.

"Get the girls!" Said a man turning on the car, as two men tried to get ahold of Lana, Sally and Toby. I however, for once, gathered the courage to fight back.

"Hey!" I tell to the top of my lungs, causing everyone to stare at me, I clench my fists, walking towards the man inside the car. He only laughed at my, and I quote, "foolish act".
