Chapter 5  Just One Kiss Can Change Everything

Jake? You just kissed me? Wh- why?

Umm because I wanted to he replied.

But you kill my kind for a living?

Yea I know but your not a vampire so actuly they aren't your kind.

Yea but still.

I was utterly confused to why he kissed me I mean were totally opposites but man did I wanna kiss him again. Were just sitting here on the couch looking into each others eyes an theirs an awkward silence it's so awkward that I can't stand it anymore.

I have to do something but what?

And I did something alright. I leaned down into him an kissed him at first it was just lips to lips but then he let his tongue slide into my mouth and it wasn't just a normal kiss anymore it was a very passionate kiss. His hands went to my waist an he flipped me over so that I was on my back an he was on top taking full control of the kiss.

After a few minutes we where breathless an back to staring at each other. The only difference this time was that it wasn't an awkward silence but actually a nice one. I figured the kiss was over an that he was going to get off of me an go to bed but boy was I wrong because he leaned down again for yet another kiss.

~Jake's P.O.V~

I was shocked really shocked because all of a sudden I just couldn't get enough of Kate I mean I could lay right here all night long an never stop kissing her.  But I knew eventually we had to stop because Issy an Conner would be up soon an what would they think of this. I didn't know whether they would care cause of the fact that shes a half vampire, or not. Guess I'll find out when they find out which is probably going to be soon because oh man I could not keep my hands off of this beautiful half vampire girl that I could see my self falling in love with.

Oh shit I'm a dead man.

~Kate's P.O.V~

Jake just kept kissing me an kissing me I was starting to wonder what the hell happened to him. One minute hes all bad ass then the next hes all I can't get enough of you Kate. I couldn't get enough of him either though, he was a way better kisser than my ex Teddy an he was a vampire.

It's like Jake what is going on in that head of yours.

It was too soon when I noticed me an Jake had stopped kissing an he had fallen asleep wow I really must of been in Lala land for a while to not to notice this.I was about to get out of his warm embrace when I heard someones foot steps coming from around the corner must be Issy, or Conner I thought.

Oh shit Issy, or Conner they can't see me like this with him. What would they think? I could really care less what they thought of me but I did care what they would think of Jake hes a slayer for crying out loud an hes in the arms of a half vampire. I had to think fast so i decided to get out of his arms an just as I went to slide out of his embrace Issy whispers, haa caught you Kate.

I jumped up really fast waking Jake up in the process while Issy was just standing there bent over in laughter. When she finally was done with her fit of laughter an both me an Jake were looking at her she gos wow never thought I could scare a half vampire, come on y'all have to admit that was pretty funny.

Um what's going on Jake speaks up.

What's going on um Jake I should be asking you an her that Issy said while pointing at me. I have to admit though you two looked pretty cute all cuddled up together.

Yeah about that I went to speak up but Jake interrupted me by saying, sorry Issy but for some reason I just couldn't get enough of Kate last night.

Awe how cute was Issy's reply while I was looking at him like he was crazy an just when I didn't think things could get any weirder Conner walks in grabbing Issy by the waist an says what's so cute babe.

Jake an Kate, Issy Squealed.

He just looks at the two of us for a minute then he gos. My man Jake while reaching over to pat him on the back. I figured you would hook up with her sooner or later because back in the park you had a look on your face that said you wanted her right then an there plus you were staring at her the whole time.

I looked over at Jake to see he had this embarrassed look on his face then he clears his throat an gos don't we have somewhere to be Issy, Conner.

Guess I figured out what they would think of him not a damn thing wow these three slayers sure are strange.
