Chapter 12  Forgiveness

After Jake stopped yelling at me I went to the couch and just lie their thinking of a way to show him that I choose him. Maybe I should just let him get some sleep so he can calm down a bit and we can get an actual conversation down with out him yelling at me again.

I awoke turning in every direction, it's like ugh why can't I sleep. I was just about to turn on my side and try to get some actual sleep when a voice spoke up beside me. Jake's voice.

So did you decide?

I played stupid and asked him decide what?

Don't play games with me Kate did you decide who you want me or him, he said in a disgusted tone.

Jake I told you last night that I chose you.

Yeah but how can I believe that if you still have feelings for your ex?

Oh my gosh Jake you just don't understand, of course I still have feelings for him he was my first true love. We where so post to get married for crying out loud, so yea of course I still have feelings for him but I also know that I love you and hopefully as the years pass I won't care for him anymore and it will just be you. Because believe me I wish I didn't still have these feelings for him I even thought I was over him. You have to understand that I left my home, him, my parents. It's going to take a while for me to get over him, and by having you by my side every waking minute will help because I love you Jake I truly do I just wish you could see that but if not I understand.

After my little speech and his stupid question we fell into silence I thought that maybe he didn't believe me so I started to give up hope, that was until he bent down from where he was sitting on the coffee table and kissed me and oh my it was no gentle kiss it was passionate and hungry of course I kissed him back because well da I love this kid.

We kept kissing even after he picked me up and cradled me bridle style to his bedroom, or should I say soon our bedroom. He lay me on the bed still kissing him, when we finally pulled apart I said so you believe me now huh? With a smirk.

Yes... Was he reply before he planted me another big kiss on the mouth.

Eventually he fell asleep so I just lie their with a huge smile on my face thinking of all the memories we would soon be making. I got distracted in my thought when I heard someone rustling around in the kitchen, if it wasn't for my vampire hearing I wouldn't of heard the noise.

I crawled out of bed silently and opened the door. When I opened the door I wished I  hadn't because who I saw made my stomach turn, and all of my hopes and dreams of my future with Jake disappeared. All that was left was fear for him, Issy, and Conner.
