Chapter 10  The Argument

I pushed Nathanial away and started for the entrance to the park I guess I should have ran because only seconds later did Nathanial have me by the waist, leaving kisses down my neck, when he started to whisper oh Kate you have to admit that was one hell of a kiss.

I will not admit anything now let me go I have to go. 

Where? To your precious Jake, Kate come on just say you'll think about us as a thing please.

He turned me around so I could look into his beautiful blue eyes and so he could look into my hazel ones.

OK I will but on one condition.

What?

You have to let me go. I will think about it tonight and tell you tomorrow OK?

Fine! He said with a pout. But one more kiss.

He kissed me again with so much passion that I couldn't pull away, it wasn't until my phone started to ring that I did pull away from his amazing kiss but at the same time very wrong. I pushed him away yet again to look an see who was calling me it was Jake but I didn't answer the phone in time so it went to voice mail.

Jake huh? Nathanial spoke up.

Umm yea I have to go.

Don't forget to think about it Katherine, Ugh did he really have to keep calling me that. He seen my face and started laughing I just ignored him and took off for the gates again.

When I got back to Jake's place it was pretty late. Jake, Issy, and Conner where all sitting at the couch, an when they saw me Jake stands up and gos hey Kate where have you been I thought you where just going for a walk.

I was.

OK so where have you been then?

Umm does it really matter? If so OK then I was just at the park.

Yea it kinda does matter Kate and um you've been at the park all day?

Yea.

Really I don't believe you.

Are you kidding me Jake come on I thought you trusted me I was at the park but I got carried away and didn't notice the time.

Really and you couldn't answer your phone.

I guess not even though by the time I went to answer it, it had already went to voice mail. I can see that you really don't trust me but whatever that's cool.

Kate come on I do trust....

Not on shut up I'm going to bed i don't think I want to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't trust me. How did we ever think this was going to work it's not even natural.

After that was said Kate stormed off to Jake's room.

~Jake's P.O.V~

Did that really just happen?

I was mainly asking myself  that but Conner spoke up. Yep buddy it did so looks like your sleeping on the couch tonight.

No I'm not. I was shocked I mean it's my room does he really think I'm sleeping on that uncomfortable thing when I have a bed, I think not.

Yeah by the looks of it you are. Every time Issy and I fight and she storms off into the bedroom I end up having to sleep on the couch.

Yep it's true Issy says.

But it's my room!

That doesn't matter the girl always gets what she wants, Issy and Conner said at the same time.

Hmm just watch. I walked towards the bedroom door and went to open it when I tried the door nob it was locked so I started to knock.

Kate opens the door and angrily says what do you want?

You know this is my room right?

Yes I'm not stupid but the couch is calling you for tonight, she throws a sheet and a pillow at me then slams the door shut.

Really babe come on don't be this way.

I told you so, Issy yells from the living room. Then Conner starts laughing and says yea the couch is calling you buddy so you better run.

So funny Conner.

Yea yea I know that's why I'm laughing have fun on the couch night dude.

Well I guess Conner was right cause it looks like I am sleeping on the couch tonight ugh I hope Kate isn't still mad in the morning.

~Kate's P.O.V~

Kate just lie there in bed thinking of her and Jake's argument, it was a really stupid argument but she didn't understand why she started a fight between them two. Unless it was because of Nathanial and the kiss they had. It couldn't be that could it? She wondered. Do I want Nathanial or do I want Jake? Well obviously I love Jake and what I'm feeling for Nathanial isn't really anything accept maybe me missing Teddy. Yea that's all it is. So I guess I choose Jake, yeah I do choose Jake! Now I only have to go tell him that I'm sorry but how do I tell him.

She decided to go in the living room and wake up Jake. He looks so adorable asleep too adorable that now I don't want to wake him. Oh well he's just going to have to miss out on some sleep because I really do need to apologize and set things straight.

She walked over to the couch and sat on his lap but she didn't put all of her wait on him cause she didn't want to hurt him. She gently shoved at his chest and said "Hey Jake wake up, please.

He started to stir and when he looked up to see who was on him he had this look of shock on his face but then it turned to sadness.

I'm up what do you want!!?

Harsh Kate thought but she was pretty harsh with her words earlier so she just ignored the harshness of his tone and said I'm sorry can you forgive me I I love you Jake.

He just ignored her and looked at her with bewilderment at her words and before she could say anything else his lips where upon hers, as they kissed there tongues fault for dominance until Kate let Jake take over.

To soon Jake pulled away from the kiss but the words that came out of his mouth next pulled a smile upon her face.
