"What an Odd Day"

"It's such an odd day, an it's been raining all week" said Nathanial the leader of one of New York's smallest vampire clans.

Alice a girl vampire replies "I smell fresh new meat do you Nathanial?"

Yeah. So what though? A new vampire in town, no big deal.

Well this one smells different. Like there's something wrong with it. Auuhh an it's a girl, an she's headed this way.

"This shall be interesting" said Nathanial sounding bored.

Kate was walking in a dark ally, while it was raining. When she noticed a clan of vampires, thinking to herself "Uh oh this can't be good."

She decided to run hoping they hadn't seen her yet. An wouldn't decide to chase after her if they had. She didn't even get a chance to run though, because when she turned around it was to late. They had already surrounded her with no way out.

A male vampire with blondish hair, an stunning blue eyes. Who she guessed, was the leader of the small clan. Had startled her when he began speaking.

The reason he had startled her was because his voice, it was, it was so majestic.

Kate was about to reply to his question, when a female voice cut in.

"Wait shes not a vampire!" She just smells like one. This is odd if not a vampire, then she must be a slayer am I right Nathaniel?

Nahh I don't think so, but just calm down now, Alice. And don't do anything stupid like freak out, or try an kill her.

Ok so who are you then? Hmm.. An why do you smell so funky? The male vampire demanded.

My names Kate short for Kaitlyn, but I hate that name so just call me Kate. Yeah that's me. Haa wow vampire slayer eh so not my taste. An why don't you just calm down little miss Alice.

Whoa whoa whoa little miss Alice? Just who the hell do you think you are to talk to me that way little miss Kate? Alice asked angerly'

"Umm Kate", she said sarcastically.

Alice calm down. Spoke the male vampire. Anyways its nice to meet you Kate. I'm Nathaniel the leader of this little clan an as you already know this is Alice, he gestured towards the female vampire with reddish spiky hair and an attitude apparently.

I guess I shouldn't get on her bad side she might kill me in a flash of an eye Kate thought, but opps to late.

An these too are Michael an Louis he gestured to two very beautiful men, on the side of Nathaniel and Alice.

Kate stammered, an started to finally get a little scared thinking this right here is the reason she left home. So she wouldn't have to deal with vampires anymore, but look at were I am in an ally full of vampires. Getting out of her train of thought she said, Yeah nice to meet you all too but I've had enough fun for the day. So I think I'll just leave now. She started to pass them but couldn't because Nathaniel blocked her way.

Ughh really people? "replies Kate exasperated".

Now Kate don't be rude we just wanna talk. Can we just talk huh? An if not, you won't leave this spot alive threatened Nathanial.

Now she was really starting to worry.

Get out of my way now! "She pushed passed Nathaniel" an just as she did a group of slayers arrived armed an ready for a fight, and just maybe even there to save her.

Oh no this can't be good she thought when she realized they were carrying crosses.

Nathanial an his clan started to back up from Kate an the slayers. Kate dumb founded stayed right were she was.

Well I guess them finding out my little secret is better than getting stuck with a bunch of stupid wimp vampires.

One of the slayers points a cross her way saying "hey you? Are you alright? Instead of answering Kate falls to the ground on her knees screaming at the pain of the cross. While putting her arms over her head to try an ease the pain. Thinking of course me half human gets hurt by crosses, just great. Right before she passes out she hears a female voice saying, whatha Jake shes a vampire!? They pick her up an head off into another ally.
