A/N Sooooo An update so soon? You may ask that. That is because I got like 200 views. I got that ages ago, I know, but my brain has been sooooooooooooooo stuck with ideas (aka a writer's block). So here we are! BTW if you do have any suggestions or ideas to stories pls say so! THANK YOU FOR 200 views!
That night was calm. Any normal night would be. A part from this was the 1940s, WW2.
Every night, hoping a bomb wouldn't go off when you're asleep - you know the consequences. Mary knew that hospitals weren't really that good when you're dying and she knew that she should've been evacuated like her older sisters were, Lily and Lucy. Her mum allowed them to but not her, saying she was too young (she was 14). She knew the favourites, all her family members had the beginning letter of their name with 'L'. But not her. Her mum's was Leni and her Dad's was Luke. L, L, L, L, M. Even their surnames were L - Lee.
That night was normal. Any normal night in WW2 would be.
She quivered in bed, waiting for her scared body and brain to fall asleep. Trying not to think about Lucy and Lily in 'paradise'. In their letters to her explained who life was there and how it was so much better than over where she was.
Dear Mary,
It is so cool here!
Lady Lizzy is soooooo nice! It is so much better than there, it is like paradise here! You should've come. Can't see why mum didn't let you ;). Actually everyone does. Just saying!
Meals are awesome. We don't get rations! Well sort of, we get double rations because we are in a rich and quite a well-known family.
Well see you when this is over (sad times when it is),
Lucy and Lily (who didn't even write this!)
BOOOOOOOOSHHHHHH. Mary had fallen asleep when this happened, or perhaps it was fainting of shock because that sound everyone had to know. Everyone had to know this sound in case of emergency.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH! SMASH! The window smashed, by a bomb flying in through the window.
Mary was still asleep (or fainted) and in the next room her mum woke up and heard, she screamed and fled, leaving her daughter. It was a time bomb, it could go off any minute.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM! It exploded.
The night was calm. Like any normal night should be. No one awoke.
They weren't in London.
They weren't in a big city.
Or a little village.
They were isolated.......
READ BELOW IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED:
Mary's mum made it out alive. She lived in the wild for the rest of her life, where she died of a non-edible berry.
Mary died (how could she survive) and her body was found a year later.
Lily and Lucy lived a pleasant life with their newly adopted mum (Lady Lizzy).
Their mum was actually a german spy who changed sides so they took revenge on her but killed Mary instead.
A/N I doubt you read this but, Hope you enjoyed!
