A/N I really don't know what this is, I just came up with this just now, so I hoping that it actually is decent... at least average, though I'm sorry it's short. So yeah, enjoy! And, Thanks for nearly 800 views!

Layla knew she was being followed. She felt it and even saw it. Yes, saw it. A head whipping back behind a bush.

And still, several months went by, and she told nobody about it. She thought it was no big deal. Little did she know, it was a big deal. Stalking could get too far...

Layla was walking home that day. The day in which she had somehow smashed her phone during class whilst she was secretly using it. The day in which she finally told her friend that someone was following her. The day in which something was going to happen.

"Argh!" She complained as she tried to fix her smashed phone. Her mum would kill her.

Knowing that she was going to get killed by her mum, she arrived home carrying her  phone.

"Someone bashed it out my hand."

"Someone knocked it out my hand on purpose." Layla practised the shouted, "Mum! I'm home!"

"I'm in the kitchen!" Once Layla was in view of her mum's eyesight her mum gasped, "Layla! Your phone!"

"I know, I-"

"No!" Her mum clutched the handles of a knife in her hand, and in the other free hand carried a cloth.

"Who's your friend?" Her mum asked and Layla turned to see a short man behind her, hands in pockets and glasses on.

"I don't know this person."

Everyone went silent, and then... slowed? Her mum lunged forward, right towards Layla. She winced as pain expanded...

Wait. There wasn't even pain. Layla opened her eyes.

No one was there. A dream? She doubted it. A dream wasn't realistic like this. BANG! A shot filled the house and she screamed. Not the only one screaming though as another agonising screech pierced the air.

And then the man. The man carrying a gun in both hands.

"Don't hurt me..." She croaked.

As he held out the guns in front of him, pointing them right at her, the doors banged open once more and he quickly pulled the trigger....

Layla looked at him once more whilst he looked at the guns in confusion and she watched while the police took him away, and her mum who was nearly dead.
