As soon as the detectives left the room, I bolted out the room, dodging past police and god knows who, trying to follow them. Behind them, I saw Eryn following her detective and another person who I assumed told them to get up too. So.... I guess it isn't Eryn?
I entered the room where the supposed murderer was, but the door was shut by the detective before me or Eryn entered.
"So... it isn't you?" I asked.
"Nope, I wonder who though." She said staring at me through red puffy eyes.
"My guess was Celina or Asha, but it could've been Talia."
"Yeah, I guessed Celina or Asha too.... but did you know... I realised something after it happened..." She looked knowledgeably towards the door.
"What?" I stared at her.
"Kristie was talking about Asha behind her back, you kno? To the 'other' group, and Asha found out a day before Kristie was killed." Eryn shrugged.
"Have you told your detective? Cause that could have a big impact on who's the murderer." I asked incredulous.
"Yeah." She shyly smiled.
"Should we go in or not?" I finally asked.
"Why not?"
I pushed open the door to reveal.... Asha.
"I've already told you idiots! I am not the murderer!" Asha screamed.
"Miss, there's already enough evidence against you. No point lying to us now."
"NO! You just don't get it!" Asha screamed again. And then she saw us.
"They are the fricking murderers! Not me!" She nodded her head towards us, messing up her already messy hair.
Everyone turned to us, and Eryn backed behind me.
"Get everyone." Someone shouted. Behind me, someone roughly grabbed my arms and pulled me down the corridor.
God.
They should really get this sorted. The murderer should just admit it, then all the innocent people can go and just continue with their already rubbish lives as normal, not forgetting adding that scarring event too into our memory.
After half an hour of being pulled or pushed round corners, we all were suddenly in a room, bound to chairs, a lie detector set up on all of us.
It felt strange to see us back together like this, but it was a start... Eryn to the left of me, then Celina, then Talia, Then Asha.
"Miss Asha first." The lie detector guy said, "Okay, no need to worry... just answer this question. Are you called Asha?"
"Yes." She breathed.
"True, as we should expect." He said, "So... did you murder Kristie Freely?"
"No." She said, confidently.
Eryn and I looked back and forth from each other and the lie detector guy shouted back:
"True."
Suddenly, people rushed forward, untying her and letting her sit freely on the chair.
"Thank you." She rolled her eyes and started to fix her hair.
"Next, Miss Anaya." Talia glared at me as he asked, "Is your name Anaya?"
"Yes." I said.
"True." He said. Talia turned to face him and Eryn looked at me reassuringly, she knew I wasn't the murderer, but then again, she could be it too."
"Did you kill Kristie Freely?"
"No." I said louder than Asha, just to show them, I didn't kill Kristie, I didn't kill the girl who I despised, someone just did the job before me.
"False." Eryn's look turned into pure hurt.
"Wait! No! True! Sorry, everyone." Eryn grinned at me whilst I was untied and stretched my legs.
"Miss Eryn." By this point, I just knew it wasn't Eryn. So, I was pretty relaxed, watching the others reactions. Five narrowed down to three - soon two.
"Is your name Eryn?"
"Yea."
Okay, so let me skip this part, because I knew it wasn't Eryn, and probably so did you, so, now it was between Celina and Talia. Now I was unsure of who might've done it.
Celina was a brilliant actor, but then... she was tutoring Talia for no apparent reason...
"Miss.... Talia? Let's begin. Is you name Talia?"
"No, it's Natalia shortened." She said boldly.
"So... did you murder Kristie?"
A/N HAH! Cliffhanger. At this point in time, Idk whether I should upload pt 3, seeing as I MIGHT be writing a book sorta like this, but changing the plot slightly and the names etc, and if I upload pt3, ppl will see similarities between characters and guess the murderer purely by that, and I don't want that, so yeah. Maybe. Maybe.
See you whenever peeps.
