Nadia❀
I've gotta admit, I never thought my life could change drastically. I was going to become a writer and live a happy life hopefully with a loving family. Hell was I wrong. I was always thought of as pretty ordinary. I didn't have any glamorous looks or features, and I never had the popularity. I was pretty smart for the average 15 year-old. I was in the top 3% of my class. But ever since we've moved to Cadestelle, nothing has been the same."Nadia! Come on we're gonna be late, it's time to get a move on!"
I groaned as I sat up from the floor. My neck had a kink in it, due to the poor sleeping space. Finally opening my eyes, I could see my aqua blue walls surrounding me, stripped from any furniture. The only thing in my room was the blanket and pillow I had been sleeping on.
"Nadia! Please hurry, we said we would meet the landlord tomorrow. We haven't even started driving!" My aunt yelled from the small space in which we call our living room. I smiled to myself imaging my aunt right now, running around trying to get things in order. Her curly blonde hair would be escaping from her feeble attempt at a ponytail, and her small frame would resemble a tornado as she flew around the apartment to make sure she hasn't forgotten anything.
"Nadi-"
"I'm coming!" I finally yell back in a tired voice. I bunched up my blanket and pillow, knowing that this would be the last time at seeing my room.
I got up and walked towards the door, taking one last glance to where I had grown up my entire life in. I refused to let myself think too much of it, as I finally walked out the door.
Blonde hair and bright blue eyes took up my entire vision as my aunt grabbed a hold of my shoulders, a wild look in her eyes.
"Alright we have to leave right now, it's already 7:00 and I still need to carry a few boxes to the car," she mumbled and fiddled around in her pocket to withdraw our keys, "give this to the landlord and tell him I'm just gonna carry a few boxes out and he'll never see our asses again. Got it?"
I nodded registering that I understood and took the keys. I was walking towards the door and my hand was about to touch the cool brass handle, until it swung open with brutal force.
"Why the hell are you still in here!" I heard. I recovered from my shock of the sudden burst and saw our landlord standing outside our door, fuming with anger.
I wrinkled my nose at the smell of his cologne and walked past him tossing the keys at his greasy hands.
" We're leaving now see?" I called as I walked past him and towards our baby blue truck parked right outside.l
