"Oh silly, why you afraid, dont be a big baby, quit playing games."
- Move, Little Mix

Jade's POV
Caspian grabbed a torch and headed down the tunnel. We were led into a dark room. I could only slightly make out objects under the dim lighting. Caspian tilted the fire into what looked like a pool of oil. The room instantly erupted with light as the fire travelled around the room.

In the middle stood a gigantic table broken in two and behind that stood a grand portrait; A majestic lion carved into stone.

'Aslan?' I guessed.

'Yeah.' Edmund replied.

'He must know what he's doing.' stated Lucy as she walked up to the table.

I watched as Peter gazed up at the stone carving. 'I think it's up to us now.' He finally said.
He turned to leave but stopped dead in his tracks.

'Peter, what is it?' I asked.

He slowly walked over to the wall and motioned for me to follow. As I wandered over, I felt my face fall.

'K-Katy.' I called.

'What is it?' her voice suddenly alarmed.

I was aware of a crowd forming around us. I stared at the painting on the wall and subconsciously traced my fingers around the three intertwining spirals.

'it's not possible.' Katy whispered as she pulled up her sleave, to show her birthmark. She placed them side-by-side, confirming that they were identical.

(A/N Theres an image of the mark on the side )

Today was training day but all I could think about was the image of the birthmark on the wall. What was it doing there? Maybe there was a reason we are here after here.

I tried to push it out of my mind. I decided to focus on training. Honestly, I was excited. It was the day of my deul with Edmund. I was pumped and ready to go. I walked out of the how and up the slope to find Edmund practising his strikes with the open air.

I stood there for a while studying his features. He had a bead of sweat trickling down his freckly face. His feet were parallel with his shoulders as he took a sudden stab at nothing.

His hair, perfectly messy, just like his appearance. I noticed how his grip on the sword was loose yet strong.

'Take a picture, it'll last longer.'

I was shaken out of my day dream by Edmunds sudden comment. I walked up to him.

'I see that you're practising,' I stated. 'I guess you also believe that you need all the practice you can get.'

'You won't be saying that after my swords at your neck.' he said.

I walked over to grab a spare sword.

'Big talk for a guy who has no man pride.' He spun his sword around while saying 'Not for long.'

Instantly he started try to disarm me but every attempt failed. The deul didn't last long. We finished with a sword lieing on the floor, it's owner lying close by with me standing with my leg on his stomach. My face showed triumph while Edmunds showed shame from loss of whatever man-pride he had remaining.

Kaitlins POV

I smiled as I saw Edmund struggling under jade's foot. Deciding to put him out of his misery, I called her name to gather her attention. Slowly, she turned to face me, removing her foot from his chest and letting Edmund up.
'Ready for your lesson?' she asked, casually spinning the sword through the air.
'Yeah.' I said cautiously picking up a sword that had been lying on the ground.

'You're going to teach her how to sword fight?' Edmund answered incredulously, turning to jade.

'I thought she should learn form the best.' Jade answered off handedly, not even looking in his direction.

'Very true.' I watched him with raised eyebrows; Edmund never gave up so easily. He walked towards me. 'So its decided, I'll be teaching Katy, then.' He confirmed, draping an arm over my shoulder. How was it possible, that even though I was two years older, he was taller?

Jade stalked over to us and pushed his arm off of me.

A smile lit my face as I watched them bicker. Edmund tugged at jade's braid and she kicked him in the shin in response.

'They bicker like an old couple, don't they?' a voice asked from beside me.

'Yeah they do.' I said softly, watching Peter out of the corner of my eye.

'Isn't she supposed to be teaching you how to fight?'

'Around Edmund she seems to forget a lot of things.' I answered knowingly.

'Come on.' he said taking my hand in his. I attempted to pull my hand away but he only tightened his grip on my hand slightly. Raising an eyebrow at him I felt him interlink our fingers together. 'I'll teach you.'

He lead me away from them. I followed trying to ignore how well my hand fit in his.

When we stopped, he stood before me. Motioning for me to pick up my sword, he walked round me before standing behind me. His arms came around me from behind, carefully adjusting my grip on the sword. He placed a hand on the small of my back, making me straighten up instantly. Then, using flat side of his sword, he tapped my ankle. I moved my legs so that they were shoulder width apart.

'Perfect.' he said, stepping away from me, as he looked me over, then suddenly he struck. His sword collided against mine.

I looked at him, wide eyed. 'What the hell was that?' I asked.

'You've got good reflexes.' he noted with a business like tone.

We went on like that for a while, Peter striking when I least expected it, until he said 'Now you need to learn how to attack.'

'I don't want to hurt anyone.' I looked down at my shoes, rather pathetic.

'You feel like that at first, but then you remember that you're fighting for the Narnian's freedom.' His tone was soft. 'You remember that people are depending on you.'

I nodded slowly to show that I understood and he took that as a sigh to resume his teaching.

'Maybe we should try a duel.' he suggested.

'Already?'

'Yeah, come on.'

Peter moved first aiming to strike at my left side, but I quickly dodged out of the way. I moved next aiming for his shoulder, that he had left exposed but he easily blocked it. He moved to strike one again and I looked him in the eye, trying to decipher where he was aiming. As our eyes clashed, he faltered for a moment. But that was all I needed. I drove forward, eventually making his sword fly through the air.

I looked between peter and his sword in shock, before letting out a laugh of disbelief.

'Did you let me do that?' I asked suspiciously.

'No. you did it on your own.' he answered, smiling slightly, although I noticed the confusion in his eyes.

'Thanks for teaching me.' I said beaming at him.

'No problem.'
