As I flew back home I decided to push myself past my limits, for fun. There wasn't anything around for miles, so I flew as hard and as fast as I could. I flew faster and faster, even at one point slamming right into a bird. As I wiped the splattered remains off my face, "just great. There goes what's left of my innocents" I say, before thinking about the last few hours. I woke up, read a novel, had them all burned before I found out the ending. I used to think of myself as an innocent, helpless dragon, but something awoke in me today. Something, primal. I stop and think about what happened to those humans, the ones I murdered. I acted recklessly, without thinking. Without control. Something strange was happening, and I want to know what. I decided to wait until I got home to think about it, and continued to zoom along at breakneck speeds.

I landed at home, before being greeted by my father, grinning. "How was today?" He asked, still showing his razor-sharp teeth. "Have fun slaughtering those humans?" Well that came from nowhere. Shocked, I stepped back from my father. "I I... I didn't mean to kill them... I only kill If I'm desperate" I say, wincing, waiting for my fathers response. "Good" he chuckled "it worked"

Before I could question him, I felt myself pushed deep into the back of my mind, away from the controls, but still concise of reality. "Noo!!" I shrieked, as my cries are heard by no one. I stay there, in an unfamiliar world blind of the subconscious region around as my eyes still focused on reality, my sight came back suddenly, after I had sat down and cried for a while. My new surroundings were different to how I imagined myself. Dark, demonic and dangerous. This isn't anywhere in my mind I would want to exist, or become.

"Welcome" the voice of an intimidating figure blared throughout my head. "It's been a pleasure, but I'm afraid you're going to have to leave" it said, revealing itself to me. It was another dragon, this one with flaming eyes, jet black scales and a sickly blood red outline.

Fire emerged in front of it every step it took. It was accompanied by a sword, sharpened to more than any talon could ever be, piercings my heart although metres ahead. "Who are you!?" I snarled, lowering myself ready to pounce. "I am not someone to be underestimated" he announced. "And you are in my new body..."
