"Well this is awkward" I say out loud, eying the many soldiers aiming their guns straight at me. They slowly parted, still aimed at me while a well dressed general walked in. Yep, this is my crazy day. First I wake up and realise it's Friday, not the weekend, then got kidnaped, then discovered Dragons exist, then flew on a Dragon for an hour, then discovered my parents are dead *mentally inhales* found out I am a Dragon, and finally a group of people are trying to kill me. Crazy day, right? My train of thought was going so fast it was about to derail, I was unable to focus on anything other than the noise in my head as all the information swirled around and collided, before the general asks "so, are you the little dragon causing trouble within my men" he stares me down, before gesturing toward my parents room. "It took a while before we knew they were Dragons, and it was only a matter of time before we connected the dots to you"

"Ok, I'm so confused. How could you find out if I only just did?" I ask, clearly puzzled. I get a confused look from a few of the soldiers. "So wait? Your not the black dragon that flew over one of our outposts? One of our soldiers saw it land, before you emerged nearby" He asks, clearly as confused as I am. "Uh uh, well then..." he trailed off, wondering what to do. "Well, you are their daughter, right..." he said, worriedly as he gestured again towards my parents. "I... I'm not sure..." I say, shaking "I think so, but after all that's happened today I'm not sure what I am" I say, looking down. "But you're a Dragon, and we must cleanse the world from you Demons" he said firmly to himself and me. "Why haven't you tried to attack, or escape? Or shift? Maybe it's a trick... yeah that's it, it's a trick to annoy me, to confuse my..." he rambled, as some of his men start looking at him and each other. As they lose focus on me and try to get the attention of their crazy general, I reach over and grab the green gem, and quietly slipped the small chain around my neck, and into my shirt, out of view.

The general finally stopped rambling on like a nutcase, and turned to me. "Your still a dragon, so kill her!" He Shouted, as the soldiers raised their guns. "NO!" I screamed, thinking about Blaze. That's it! Dragons! I think, as I feel energy around the room increase, and my body spontaneously exploded outwards, in its place a dragon, slightly smaller than Blaze unfortunately. With deep Crimson scales and black lines all over. The force of my 'shift' in the cramped room threw the soldiers back, causing them slam into the walls, one guy underneath my tail. I took my chance, and jumped through the large window, as I heard gunshots behind me. I'd never flown before, so it was a bit hard to start, but unfortunately it was short lived as a bullet went through my left wing, my flailing causing the tear in the membrane to grow. I dropped, causing minimal damage as I landed relatively on my feet, or claws or whatever they're called. I looked behind me as the soldiers climbed out and gave chase. My first response was this "I have to reach Blaze" as I ran as far and as fast as I could.

"Damn it, why did it have to be me, why does the world seem against me?" I yelled to the sky, running as fast as I could, a few buckets pinging off my scales
I stare behind me, towards the resting place of my parents
Well, thanks for ruining my life" I said, a lowly feeling building within me

As chaotic as things are, they can only get worse, as a bullet pierced my thick armour, sending pain all up my body. This just made me run faster, as I was not about to give up this easily. I was flooded with emotions. Not fear, but hope. Hope that if I find Blaze he can help me. That was my mission, and I planned to complete it.
