Phantom's POV
I really didn't want to leave cyko, but if I didn't I would have been kicked out by the doctors anyways. I also feel bad because I forgot to tell him I love him before I left! Why do I forget the most important things? Now I have to get stuck with this annoying creature the whole ride back. "Hey! I heard that!" Yeah. I said that out loud on purpose just to get him mad. "Yep. I know." He got in the seat next to me and started the car. We slowly left the parking lot while I was looking at all of those terrible abstract statues they have outside of that death pit. I never understood abstract. They say its supposed to be that way, but I'm sure they only said that to make a quick buck off the street from their terrible hobbies and what they call art. I'm now staring out the window at all of the tall business buildings flashing by the window while feeling a bit moody. Actually, ever since cyko has been in the hospital I couldn't help to get a little depressed. I only have to wait a few more weeks right? That shouldn't be too bad... Keito snapped me out of my thoughts as he slammed on the brakes making me fly forward and hit my head on the mirror I forgot to close before we went inside the hospital. "What the hell happened?" I yelled. "There's an injured cat in the road." I stopped and put up the mirror to reveal a black cat laying in the middle of the road. I couldn't actually see it harmed anywhere on its body... Maybe I just have to look closer? I got out of the car and walked up to it slowly trying not to provoke it. It looked at me and got up. It looked perfectly fine! It came up to me and started rubbing my legs. It was so cute! I kneeled down and pet it. I looked into its beautiful bright blue eyes and looked at its almost purple looking black fur. I looked around to see there were no houses around. It seemed like nobody has even been around here before. That's pretty odd considering we were literally just in a huge and crowded city. Man, i must have been out of it for longer than I thought! The cat started licking my pants and rubbing its head into my hand. Yaknow what? I don't think this little guy has a home... So that means I could keep it! I could even give it to cyko as a present! I bet he will like it since he's a cat person. Its kind of weird though. Cyko is a very agile and adrenaline filled person. Pretty much the opposite of a normal cats lazy and independent personality. I picked up the cat and went back to the car. "Wait. Are you seriously thinking about taking that cat home?" I was petting it "yep. Why?" He sneezed. "Because now I won't be able to go to your house as much! I have allergies to cats..." I made the right decision. It was about ten minutes later when we reached the house. Keito's face was red and his nose was running. Hah."well see ya later tater!" What does that even mean? "Bye.." I said as he backed up and drove off. I held the cat up to my face and put my nose on its nose. "Mrrow!" It purred. I already love this cat. And I'm sure cyko will too once he gets out of the hospital.
