The Complicated Lie (ON HOLD)

Part 14

Zaven POV

I just stand there and stare as she speeds off in her car. What am I going to do if she goes to that party? I can’t just let her go and be with all those other guys. My body begins to get warm as I think of her being with any other guys. I try and calm myself down but it doesn’t help. I get into my car and race off into the woods which lead to the pack house. I get to the pack house within minutes. I get out and race to my dad’s office.

We didn’t really know why Isabella was here but I’m sure my dad knows. All we knew was that they were coming in advance. I race upstairs and go to the end of the corridor where my dad’s office was. I rush in and his busy on the phone.

“Yes don’t worry, nothing will happen to her. She’s in safe territory.” My father says to the other person over the phone. “Okay thank you, goodnight.” My father continues and puts down the phone.

“Dad!” I say to my dad and give him one look.

“Son” my father answers me calmly.

“Who is Isabella Woods?” I ask him sitting down tin the chair in front of his desk.

“Well son you know who she is. She’s the new girl from your school.” He says answering my question.

“No I mean who is she. Who is the true Isabella Woods and why is she here. You don’t just let anyone live on our territory.” I ask him with a questioning look.

“Why are you so interested in this girl Zaven?” he asks raising an eyebrow.

“Because I would like to know who she is. I’m future Alpha and I deserve to know who and why they are here on our territory.” I answer him with a straight face.

“Well son,” he says wiping his forehead “Isabella Woods is Blake Woods child, he was one of my great best friends and Alpha of Silver Wood. Unfortunately he was killed in a rogue attack in his side of the territory when Bella was just 2. We all knew that the rogues wanted to go after Blake but we tried to prevent it. We then made a plan to send Bella and her mother to Salt Lake City where they would be safe. And when they reached Salt Lake the rogues had destroyed Silver Wood and every wolf in it.”

“But why are they here now?” Zaven asks concerned.

“After the years Bella grew up. Her father wanted her to stay away for our world, fortunately her mother is human so that could be possible. Her father had a special necklace made just for her. This necklace prevents her from knowing about us and even if she was a wolf herself she wouldn’t be able to activate her wolf. So her mother had made her wear it since she was 2. But now the reason why she is here is because they had sightings and threats in Salt Lake City from rogues, so the Alpha there asked if they could come and stay here since we have the best warriors and attacking force. So they moved her and now she goes to your school.”

“But why didn’t you tell me in the beginning when they moved her?” I ask him.

“What would it matter Zaven, she’s just a normal human being just like her mother” he says looking at me.

I just gave him a very angry look knowing that she was not human. He looked back at me with a questioning look on his face.

“Is she your mate?” he asked me.

I just got up and looked at him one last time and then I heard a sigh coming from his office as I walked out. ‘I guess we’re going to a party Xavier’

Bella’s POV

I get home after a nice calming drive from school. I get into the house and my mom’s busy in the kitchen.

“Hey mom” I say walking in by the door.

“Hi Bella” my mom replies.

“Is it okay if I go to this girl named Jessica’s, party?” I ask her grabbing an apple from the table.

“Yeah sure” my mom replies.

“Thanks” I kiss my mom on the cheek.

I make my way up to my room to go and do my homework that has to be done by tomorrow. ‘I’m so excited that my mom is allowing me to go to another party.’ I’m busy packing out all the homework I have on my desk so I can check what I need to do first. Before I can check my homework, my phones alert goes off. I look and there’s a message from Crystal.

Crystal: “hey did you ask your mom if you could go to Jessica’s party?”

Bella: “yeah I did”

Crystal: “and what did she say, come on spill the beans”

Bella: “she said yes that I can go, can you believe it?”

Crystal: “girl yes I can believe it lol”

Bella: “it’s so cool that she is actually letting me do things”

Crystal: “I guess it is hay”

Bella: “yeah well. I got math homework to do, chat later”

Crystal: “okay boo, bye”

I put down my phone and get starting with my homework, but before I do that I put on my music so it can play while I’m doing my homework. So much time has gone by and I’m finally done. I haven’t spent so much time with my brother so I go to his bedroom. He is laying there watching a movie. Cars 2. I lie down next to him and watch the movie with him and listen to how his day was at school until my mom calls us for supper.
