1.

Terrence Williams arrived at his new home just before ten in the morning on Wednesday the sixth of September 2017. He got out of his easy on the eye Ford Mustang, moved a few feet and stood to take in any kind of feeling he could get for the immediate area of where it is his new residence so happens to be. Slowly turning a full three sixty he needs to briefly shield his eyes from the strong low lying morning sun.

He has had that car of his for some time now and pre-purchase he had thought about acquiring a colourful car to match a personality he really wanted to break right into. Somehow red, yellow, or blue just did not feel right so he went with the classic black, a colour his personality has remained stuck within ever since.

Now there is nothing dark about Terrence Williams, rather the colour matches his ordinary world where had always accepted what is expected of him. His current circumstances have set him free to the degree where he can now go do things he always wanted to and had previous been unable to do. The car was a beginning of a new start and he wanted to reflect this with colour. Instead of a red, yellow, or blue, he went with the colour he formerly would have associated his life to.

He has also acquired himself a new house, one with which he could not wait to get to for in this there certainly is change. The purchase of this new home may be the actual first step in changing from a classic black to maybe a red, yellow, or blue. Still, this is just a maybe ...

This new home is a little ways away from where he is from. It is a little ways away from the life he has known up to this point. Beyond that, this new home is the first completely detached house he comes to from having passed the main estate ground gates and at that it is not all so far beyond those gates. From right next to this new house, to the right more so than to the left as he looks at this building, the estate begins to move downwards, quite steeply at first. It is not a particularly large estate, the grounds as a whole can be walked in a matter of minutes and is fairly circular, probably a little more oval than circular.

Housing is a mix of detached and semi-detached buildings to the left, to the right and in the center of a single road that circles the whole area is where he stands. One could walk or drive down to the right side of Terrance's new home and could find themselves coming up on the left-hand side in no time at all.

At this moment in time, the estate is fairly quiet. There are two young children playing a little ways down the hill on that right hand side. They are possibly three or four years old and are being supervised by a single adult, their mother, or an aunt perhaps. She sees this new arrival, Terrance, looking in her direction and sends a friendly wave his way. He waves back, speaking a pleasant 'Hello' loud enough for her to hear. First impressions as a new homeowner have him believing that this really could be a pleasant place to live.

With it approaching ten o' clock, Terrence has nowhere to go for the moving van coming his way is due to arrive at midday. Bit of a shame really, for his new home has not even got so much as a kettle or a mug to make himself a hot drink, not that he had anything he could add to boiling water. As it also is, there is not even so much as a chair for him to sit on and wait out the couple of hours.

The previous owners of this place appear to have taken everything with them. The interior of the house is completely bare, bright but bare with the strong sun's glare through the living room window creating a more than pleasant heat, a homely kind of warmth within an interior that has a musky dusty stench to boot. This bare thing may be something good, a blank canvas to add colour to.

He has his mobile phone but no local Wi-Fi as of yet to connect to. His monthly data usage has been surpassed but that can be easily sorted. He doesn't realize all that is or isn't straight away as in regard to what he does or does not yet have, though once he has entered his new home and has had a bit of a wander around to each room, he comes to that conclusion that there isn't much for him to do in this moment until his belongings arrive. The bare necessity within each room definitely matches that of the kitchen and living room ... and perhaps his inner self too.
