Anyway, I've known her since I was like three because our parents would get together. They aren't friends but they're in business together so they always made a point to be friendly and keep each other happy.

So I always felt pressured to get along with Hannah and make sure she's happy. You know, hang out with her and make small talk while our parents discussed whatever needed discussing.
For me it was always strictly platonic and business-like but a couple years ago she came onto me and I shut her down.
I didn't want to be mean so I just used the "I have a girlfriend excuse" which I did so I wasn't lying.
Anyway, I thought that was the end of it. But today our parents got together like they usually do every so often and she came along. Apparently she heard about my and Paris' breakup and didn't hear about you.
She tried things again with me and that's when you walked in. I swear, Hen, I didn't have time to react.
