Halloween

Ava's POV
Tonight is Halloween night and it's going to be Ashleigh's first Halloween me and August argued over her costume but I won he wanted her to be a princess and I wanted her to be an elephant we ended up having Ashleigh vote and my costume option won. The only thing is she's so tiny so the costume is too big but she still looks cute August walked in on me putting it on her

"All costumes in the store you wanted to be him"
"And you wanted to be whatever bloody girl"
It's true I just threw something together and splattered fake blood on it I had a cut up shirt with some leggings with black and white vans it was cute and simple.
"It's cute though"
"Yeah you look sexy"
He smirked walking over to me
"Yeah not happening"
I walked out his room with Ashleigh on my hip for her to be three months she sure is heavy
"Y'all ready to go?"
I grabbed Ashleigh's pink pumpkin bucket
"Yeah"
We walked out the house I didn't know August had a bag to
"You to old to be trick or treating"
I laughed
"I'm not to old watch how I get candy tonight though"
"Okay"
We arrived at these big houses I turned towards Ashleigh surprisingly she's up
"You're ready little A"
August shot me a look I stuck my tongue out at him, we got out August had Ashleigh while I had her bucket we went to our first house kids were already here so we waited like them one of the kids rung the doorbell an older lady came to the door we let kids go before us until it was our turn
"Say trick or treat Ashleigh"
She just smiled at the lady
"Awww look at the little elephant she's too cute here take some candy"
Ashleigh tried to grab some candy August helped her after she got her candy we went to our next house
"Say thank you"
"Your welcome cutie"
On to our next house it was a little windy
"We should've brought little A's jacket"
"She already in that hot ass costume what else she need"
"Something else warm"
We made it to our next house teenaged girls were sitting on the porch we walked up to them
"Aww look at her she's too cute what's her name?"
"Thank you her names Ashleigh say trick or treat baby girl"
She just smiled receiving candy from them
"Thank you"I smiled
"No problem and I like y'all costumes too"
"Thanks"
We went to more house getting compliments on how cute Ashleigh was and how we were a cute little family. I guess Ashleigh was worn out and wanted August to carry her to the car, we walked towards the car August put her in and buckled her in while I had her bucket full of candy my baby girl is tired.
"Little A had everyone awed over her"
"Right baby girl was too cute"
"I'm surprised nobody noticed you"
"Maybe because I had a mask on"
He said in a duh tone
"Okay smart ass"
He chuckled, we finally made it to his house I gave him Ashleigh's bucket and I grabbed Ashleigh this time she'll get her bath in the morning I undressed her and myself my baby was sweating in there so I let her sleep with just a diaper on tonight I grabbed me some shorts and a tank top and slipped in bed August came in telling us goodnight and left out the room. I'm glad my baby girl had a great first Halloween night
