soon weeks had passed and I was doing pretty well at school , I'd passed all my tests and I had managed to get all A's in my biology class .
today was yet another day at school , I left the cafeteria quite early so I could get to my history class before the bell rang , I called myself the ghost of the hallway because I roamed around when nobody was there and I was practically invisible even when the hallways were full .
" ms. jensen !" ,I heard someone call my last name, I instantly knew it would be a teacher , I looked back but I didn't see anyone so I kept on walking "ms jensen ! " I looked back again and I saw Mr. Gordon my biology teacher slowly make his way to his classroom door to see if I heard his call , " can I see you in my classroom for a minute ? " , I nodded and made my way to his classroom
I mad my way into his classroom nervously and when I got in I saw mr Gordon on sitting on his chair by his desk and in front of the desk I saw a tall figure when I got closer I saw it was Chad hood , the school bad boy , everyone knew he was trouble and I tried my best to stay away from him .
So many things were going through my mind
why was I called here ?
what was Chad Hood doing here ?
why are my jeans so tight ?
"Ms Jensen " mr Gordon said emotionless
" I bet you are wondering why I called you here , well Mr hood here hasn't been doing very well on his biology work an- "
" and you want me to tutor him , don't you ?" I said shyly
"yes , yes I do " he said with a smirk on his face
"Are you two done talking ? because I've got somewhere to be and I'm not going to stick around and listen to you two talk about whatever it is you are talking about" chad said dimly
"now Mr Hood you stay where you are and you listen , you listen good ! " mr Gordon said as he stood up and pointed a finger at Chad
"because I'm trying to get Ms Jensen here to help you raise your grades , so you won't be in danger of failing the damn grade "
" what if I don't wanna pass your class old man ? " chad said with a daring look on his face
" then we are going to have to hold you back a grade Mr Hood " mr Gordon said with the look of victory on his face
" Fine then , but only because I wouldn't want to spend another year in your awful class " chad said swallowing his pride
" and what about me ? Do I get a say in this ? " I said angrily
" No ! " they both shouted with their heads turned towards me
I knew I was instantly defeated at that moment
"you two will start with your first tutoring lesson on Tuesday ,you should study unit 4 and 5 from your textbooks , I want to see some progress on next week Wednesday's test " he said while looking at chad and I
" if Mr Hood passes Wednesday's test he would have passed the term with at least a C- , and then you can stop with your lessons , and if he fails you two will might as well move in together because he will be with you for a long long time , understood ? " mr Gordon asked , waiting for my acknowledgment
"understood " I said timidly
"good , now the both of you leave my class room ! "
Chad and I made our way out of Mr Gordon's classroom
" uh so Tuesday is tomorrow , where will we meet ? and what time ? " I asked very softly trying not to anger him more
he turned to me , examined me and smiled " how about your house at 8 ? "
" can't , I go to bed at 9 and there's no way I'm bringing a boy home " I said timidly
he rolled his eyes
" oh I know what about the library at 3 ? "
"sure , whatever "
he left , and I was just left trying to process everything that just happened , Chad Hood was the kind of person I had been trying to avoid my whole life and now I was suppose to spend the whole week with him
