Shopping!!!!

Ma said we were going shopping today.My friends left as they had an important work in Chennai.My mom invited them for the engagement.
We got ready and started to their house.Only her mother and she came.Prabhu pa did not come.I was a little disappointed.
My mother got down and was talking to her mother.
Me:Both my mother's...shall we leave?
They giggled and ran to sit in the back seat.I wondered why.
I din't realise that Keerthi was going to sit in the front near me.
She came and sat next to me in the passenger seat.I was excited.I could see a smile in her face.
We went to a famous shop in Coimbatore and both the mother's started searching for our engagement dress...
I had a private time with Keerthi.I initiated the conversation..
Me:Hi...
Keerthi:Hi..
Me:Can I have your phone number..
Keerthi:Sure
We exchanged our numbers.
Me:So..leaving today?
Keerthi:Ya..Booked your ticket?
Me:No..Shall I book for us together?
Keerthi:Yes that's nice..
Me:Good.. I'll book it for tonight around 10:30.Is bus ok for you?
Keerthi:Ok..
We were talking for few more minutes when our mothers called us..
They had shortlisted 3 sarees.They asked Keerthi to keep the saree and show them.
She kept it one by one.I was standing at the back of her..She could see my face in the mirror.
She first took a red saree.I shook my head to no..
Then a yellow saree.I gave an ok reaction.
Then a green and blue combination saree.She looked beautiful in it.I smiled and showed thumbs up.She smiled again.
We did not notice that our mothers were watching this and they laughed.
Ma(Sathya):Ok Gaurav.we will select this itself.
Ma(Gita):Yes yes .both of you like it right..then we will buy it.
Then they bought some sarees for themselves.
Next we went to the men's section to search for my dress.
Sathya ma told me to match with the same colour of keerthi's dress.
I got the perfect one and all of them said ok.
Gita ma selected a dress for Prabhu pa.
We bought our dresses and on the way to their home Keerthi broke the news of we going together.They were surprised and happy.
While leaving I smiled and said bye to Keerthi.
When she almost closed the car door I said we will meet at 9:30.
She said ok.
By the time we reached home it was 6:30.
I went refreshed and started packing my bag.
Ma said dinner was ready so quickly I ate dinner and messaged Keerthi about the bus details.
It was time to leave.I hugged ma and got her blessings.
I left with my uncle to the bus stand to see Keerthi standing with Prabhu pa.
I went direct to him and got his blessings and hugged him.
Prabhu pa:Good that you both are going together otherwise Keerthi would not have company..
I smiled
Keerthi:Ok pa..bye
She hugged him and came with me towards the bus.
After getting on the seat we said bye through the window.
Keerthi:So..Ma din't come with you.
Me:No..By the way are you comfortable in coming in the bus?
Keerthi:Yes yes no problem at all.
Me: Keerthi.. I want to ask you something.Is it ok if my mother comes and stays with us for a year after our marriage
Keerthi:Why are you asking me?I am always happy with someone with me.
Me:Good and thanks.
Keerthi:No thanks.Firstly I want to start our relationship as best friends.so no sorry and thanks.
Me:That's good.So we are best friends from now on.
Keerthi:Yes..done.
I smiled at her.slowly we started to sleep.
It was a semi sleeper bus.
I got up in the middle of the night.the bus stopped for few minutes.
That's when I noticed that my angel has fallen asleep on my shoulder.
I felt happy.I slowly removed her hair from her face to see her beautiful face.
She was beautiful.
I felt lucky and proud.
Quickly I took out my phone and took a selfie of us.This was our first photo.
I felt contented and happy.. Again I slept.
