Two weeks!! 14 days for my marriage....
I thought about this while eating lunch at work...
The invitations came and we distributed it to all my colleagues and my boss..I'm sure Gaurav also would have done the same....
When I gave the invitation I asked leave to for 15 days...
Boss: You will go on a loss of pay Keerthi...is that ok??
Me:It's ok sir... Actually I need more than that...But it's ok..
Boss:I will give you an offer...This is because you were a productive employee here..I have not given you increment nor promotion but you have constantly worked with the same attitude and skills..
So today I give you an offer that you have this full month leave and salary..
Me:Thank you soo much sir...
Boss:Wait it's not over yet..Are you continuing work after marriage?
Me:I still did not ask my fiance sir..Even though he agrees my mother in law should also agree..I have to ask sir...
Boss:For that only I'm giving you another offer.. Work from home...Is that ok for you??
Me:I'm absolutely fine and would love to do that..
Boss:You can work whenever you want but for a week you should work for 35 hours(Monday to Friday)
Ok???
Me:Thank you so much sir....I'm so grateful to you..
Boss:Ok so today is the last day of work here... Monthly once you have to report here and tell me the progress...
Me:Sure sir..
Boss:I will give all the details to Ms.Priya..You collect it when you leave..
Me:Thank you sir..
I left the boss cabin with a smiling face...I was so worried to ask about this to Gaurav..
Now I'm happy....
I told all my colleagues about this and the were worried that they will miss me...
I reassured them that I will visit them once in a month...
Akshu was also happy...
We returned to our homes and first I called Gaurav to say this news..
Gaurav:Hello Keerthi...
Me:Hello Gaurav..I have an exciting news for you..
Gaurav:Is our marriage preponed..he laughed
Me:Gauravvv..
Gaurav:Ok cool..Tell me
I told him about the job and he seemed to be pretty happy...
Me:So...
Gaurav:Two weeks....
Me:Yeah..and then I'll be officially ms.gaurav Kumar..
We laughed...
We were speaking for long hours until we slept..
I was really happy....
Next day morning I called Sathya ma to say this news..She was also happy as she was going to stay with us for a year..
Next I called my parents..
They too were excited..They asked me to come home..I agreed..But there were 2 weeks for all the functions to start..
It will be boring..
I called back mom and said I will be coming after a week..
I had a lot of work to do..
I had to pack my things..I was going leave my room which was my companion for almost 5-6 years...
I called Gaurav in the evening and told I will leave after 1 week..
He suggested we could meet up on both Saturday and Sunday..I agreed..
The week passed by.i was leaving on Sunday.
On Saturday Gaurav told he will come in the morning itself..Akshu and Keerthu went outside for the full day with Rahul and goutham...
I had the full day with Gaurav..I was smiling at this thought..Just then the bell rang it was Gaurav..
I went and opened the door..he was smiling like an idiot...
He came inside....
He sat in the sofa and I sat beside him..He held my hand and we started talking..
I layed on his shoulder...
Gaurav:Keerthi..
Me:Hmm..
Gaurav:I love you.
Me:Me too..
He lifted my head from his shoulder and placed it on his lap..
Our eyes met..
He came near me..I closed my eyes..
He gave a soft kiss on my forehead..
I opened my eyes to see his face..
He was smiling..I could see the love for me in his eyes..
My phone rang..
I got up and saw that it was a call from an unknown number.
I ignored it..
We had lunch and saw movie which was playing on TV...
In the evening we saw a message from Akshu and Keerthu that they are going on a long drive and they will not return for today..
Gaurav:Are you scared? Shall I be with you today..he winked..
Me:If you wish but no doing anything..
Gaurav: promise..
I nodded..
He slept in the couch and left next day morning..
I was thinking about all the memories about yesterday...
A very big sorry friends...my fever became severe and I got admitted in the hospital..
