Keerthi P.O.V I woke up when Gaurav gently tapped ony shoulder. We reached Chennai.
Gaurav:Good morning best friend.
Me:Good morning.had a good sleep?
Gaurav:hmm good and you.
Me:Me too ok.Will you got to office by 9 itself??
Gaurav:No today half day only.
Me:Me too.i smiled.
We got down to see our friends Rahul and Akshu waiting for us.
I said bye and he too waved.I smiled.
We reached our house and I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up it was 11.I saw a message from Gaurav to call him after I wake up.
I immediately called him.He picked it up in 1ring itself.
Me:hello
Gaurav:Hello Keerthi..my mom called me in the morning to inform that we forgot to buy the engagement ring and told us to get it ourselves.
Me:Oh ya.. We forgot about that.When are you free?
Gaurav: Shall we go today evening at 6-7 and finish our dinner and return home.
Me:Ya sure.can you pick me up.i will share my location.
Gaurav:Done bye...
Omg..I'm going to dinner first time with him.i should choose the best dress.
Akshuuuuuuu..just then I realised Akshu had gone to work.
I went to work early so that I could return back early.In the lunch break I told akshu about the shopping and the dinner plan.She was so happy.
She told she will select the dress and do the makeup for me as it is our first outing.
We left from the office early and reached home.
I quickly went and washed my face and Akshu selected a kurthi for me.
She did light makeup and when she was done we heard a honk sound.
Me:I think it's Gaurav.Byeee
I took my phone,purse and left.
He was waiting for me.
Me:Was I late?
Gaurav:Not at all.You look beautiful today.
Me:I said thanks while blushing.
The car travel was silent.None of us spoke.
We reached the famous jewellery shop and got down.
We went to the ring section and asked for engagement rings.
The man showed many samples.We both did not like it.
While leaving one pair of rings got my attention.
I asked whether that was nice he agreed for that.
We told the man to pack it.
We left the shop to our car with the rings.
In the car I initiated the conversation.
Me:Did you really like it?
Gaurav:Yes yes I loved it.
Me:So where are we going for dinner?
Gaurav: Surprise!!
Me:Hmm ok.
We have reached.He quickly got out of the car and opened my door and closed my eyes.
We were walking for a long distance.
Then he opened my eyes.What I saw was a beautiful sight.

We went and sat..we ate and talked for almost 2 hours.
It was time for leaving.
We went to the car.
Me: Thank you for the surprise.
Gaurav:No thanks between friends.
We both smiled.
We reached my house.
He saw me straight into my eyes and said it was good today..
I said yes..it was nice today.
We will meet soon.Bye...
Bye...he said.
I left..I knew he was watching me.
I turned back and said bye..he smiled and waved.
