I woke up at 6 in the morning....
I had my bath and went for breakfast...
Ma: Keerthi we have some rituals before going to the mandap..so get ready with a simple saree after breakfast...
Me:Ok ma...
Just then few of my relatives came inside our house.Pa and ma greeted them and I talked to them for few minutes...
We had breakfast and I got ready for the small ritual...
All my aunt's performed the ritual and by the time everything got over it was time for lunch...
We all had lunch and ma told me to get ready to go to the mandap.
I packed my bag with my saree and the necessary jewels and started to get ready by wearing a kurthi..
After reaching the mandap we went to the room which was allocated for us..
I had a face wash and started to get ready..
Just as I finished wearing my saree the make up lady came in..
She applied makeup and finished braiding my hair in a different style..
Keerthu came with my jewels and I started wearing them...
Akshu rushed in and said that Gaurav arrived...
I smiled...
After finishing everything ma came in and said:"AS USUAL LOOKING BEAUTIFUL MY DARLING".
I smile and hugged her..
Just then they called me..
First ma and Akshu went outside and Keerthu came with me..
I went outside the room to see many people sitting outside..
I went near Gita ma and hugged her...
When I turned back I saw my Gaurav in a sharwani..
He was looking really handsome...
I went up the stage and did a namaste to all the people and turned to see Gaurav looking at me...
I sat near him and was talking for some time when Rahul reminded us where we were...
The ritual started..
After almost an hour we were allowed to have dinner..
We returned to our houses..
Tomorrow was my marriage..there were only few hours to become MRS.GAURAV. I smiled at this thought....
I had a good night's sleep so that I could be beautiful on my special day....
Ma woke us up at 4:00..
I had hair bath and got ready with my wedding saree..
As usual make up artist arrived at the right time and started my make up.This time Akshu and Keerthu told her to give me a heavy make up..
After everything was over the jewels..
I wore each and every one patiently.
When I was finally done Akshu and Keerthu was looking at me with wide eyes...
I turned to the mirror to see a beautiful image of myself..For a second I could not recognise myself..

Ma and pa entered the room and they also looked astonished..
Pa:You are looking like a goddess dear..Saying that he gave a peck on my cheeks..
Ma did not say a word but just hugged me tightly and gave me a kiss on my cheek..
Keerthi:Gaurav is surely going to faint the minute he see's you...
Akshu laughed...
Pa:Shall we leave to the mandap..
Me:Yes pa...
We all left to the mandap..
I went inside the mandap to see Gita ma and Rahul..
I got the blessings of Gita ma and mouthed a hi to Rahul..
I went to the room and Keerthu made some touch up...
I heard the sound outside and realised that Gaurav had come..
I was asked to come outside and I went to the stage and did a namaste like yesterday and saw Gaurav sitting there in a white shirt and white veshti(dhothi)..
I sat near him and saw him directly into his eyes..
The preist started the ritual..
Goutham and Keerthu sat near us..
First we had to wash the feet of our parents and get their blessings..
I washed my pa and ma's feet.I felt happy for it and got their blessings..
Next was kanyadan my father held my hand and gave it to Gaurav and said some mantras..
Pa:Gaurav I give my daughter to you..You have to take care of her very well..If I see her crying you won't know what I'll do to you..
Gaurav:Pa I will surely take care of Keerthi more than you took care of her..I will not let a drop of tear from her eye fall..You don't worry pa...I will definitely take care of her 100% and i assure you that she will be happy with me...
Pa:Thank you..
Saying that he gave me a kiss on my forehead...
I felt really happy for having Gaurav in my life..He smiled at me..
Next was the time which we both had waiting for..
We exchanged garlands..
The preist gave the mangalsutra to Gaurav..
My heart started beating faster..
Gaurav came near me and tied the mangalsutra on my neck..He put all the three knots by himself..
The time has come....

He smiled at me..I smiled back.Both ma and pa had tears in their eyes...
Gita ma was comforting ma while Rahul was comforting pa....
I was feeling happy as well as sad...
