Raven woke up to the sound of birds and a fire that was dying. It was just before sunrise when she looked back at the tower and kept on her way. "Maybe if I keep going I won't think about it too much." She kept telling herself. As she got farther and farther away Beast Boy lingered in the back of her mind. This went on for hours until she was past the tower and the city. Once outside of the city Raven took a break and sat down on a rock. She remembered she had her titan phone on her belt and threw it as hard as she could in a nearby pond. "There," she said, "They won't follow me farther than this now." She kept walking until she came to a clearing. "Raven, what are you doing out here?" a familiar voice said. When she turned around she realized who it was. "What do you want Aqualad?" She turned back around and kept walking. He ran to keep up with her but ran into one of her sheilds. "I just want to know what's going on?" Raven stopped in her tracks and clenched her fist. "Why should I tell you?" Aqualad froze and calmy explained. "Look I know I almost ruined your life but let me explain please...?" Raven though for a few seconds and glared at him over her shoulder. "What is there to explain? You left that was the end of it. We have nothing anymore it's gone." Aqualad looked down and signed. "I messed up alright. All I ask is we be freinds and let that whole mess behind us. I dont want us to hate each other anymore. Its miserable. I just miss out friendship. Is that so hard to ask?" Raven turned around by this point and looked at Aqualad. He seems really hurt...maybe I should make this right. Hes speaking the truth, we have to stop the hateful behavior we've had ever since our past relationship. It shouldn't affect us in any way. Our friendship is valuable." She was thinking to herself and she hugged him. "You're right we have to put the past behind us and save our freinship." Aqualad was shocked to hear this but he squeezed her." "Raven I'll be here no matter what. I want you to use this whenever you need me okay? Its sends out an ecolocation signal that'll spread out everywhere." He handed her little conch shell with a chain. She put it around her neck and thanked him with a smile. "I appreciate it. I'll see you around." Aqualad nodded and they both continued their separate ways. Raven held the conch close as the sun was setting. She found a hollowed out tree and set up camp. She cried herself to sleep knowing she was so far away from home and Beast Boy. That night she didnt dream rather she felt at peace in a sort of meditational state. She slept through the night and woke up to watch the sunrise.
