Raven kept walking for a while and came up to a shoreline. It was beautiful, peaceful, and magical. All of the memories of Beast Boy came rushing back in her mind. She felt empty, consumed by her own thoughts.  She was slipping away from herself, from the world...her world. She felt hopeless. She walked out further into the shore and fell into her own hands as tears rushed down her face. She then continued to lay down in the water and felt  herself at peace.  She felt the waves lift her up and down, moving along with her breath. Her arms and legs flowing with the currents. She felt free, however she also felt trapped. Her mind wouldn't let her go. Everything else was free except for her mind. She wanted to let go but she kept thinking about Beast Boy and how much he meant to her. She didn't know what she wanted anymore. To be free...or be loved.  She felt a strong pain in her chest. She knew that it was the pain of heartbreak and hard decisions to make on her Journey, however she kept going. Once she dried off and walked the other into the forest she kept thinking. She kept going until she made it to clearing. It was filled with sunflowers and had a pond in the center. She walked over to the pond and saw lily pads and some frogs. She sat down at the edge and watched as they hopped from lily pad to lily pad. There was a pointy rock almost like and arrowhead, nearby and a thick stick she could use so she could hunt. She crafted up a little spear and caught a couple frogs. She sat there for so long that she didnt even notice that it was getting dark. "I should probably kept going but it's so peaceful out here I want to stay. It helps me escape from my thoughts." She thought to herself. She decided she should keep going by the time the sun was down. As she walked toward the edge of the clearing she saw a den. She walked toward it with caution for the fear of an animal residing there. Once she reached the entrance she didnt hear or see anything so she went in. She found a cloth that look like it was used for a bed so she laid down and tried to fall asleep. About a couple hours later she heard rustling and grunting from the entrance. She woke up terrified and back up toward the very back of the den. She attempted to hide behind a rock but it was too small she she just stayed quiet. Once the animal came in, she saw it was wolf or dog of some sort. The creature smelled the air knowing something wasnt right and look at Raven. It growled at her and bacon very defensive. Raven scream at first but then gathered herself together. She took out one of the frogs she caught ealier and put her hand out to the creature. Once it got closer to smell what she had, she saw it was a wolf. She put her hand out and it took it gently yet still ate it as if it were starving. The wolf was beautiful. It had auburn fur with gray on the underside. Her tail was beautiful and bushy. Her eyes were the epitomy of the ocean and the night sky all in one. Once Raven fed her she became passive and submissive. Raven sat at the entrance of the cave, of course it was already twilight and she laid down. She felt something warm against her back. The wold snuggled against her. It had never occurred to Raven how big she was. She spanned from her shoulder blades to, the tip of her tail was past her thighs. Raven was warm and felt safe now. She smiled slightly, "Until morning my furry friend." The wolf replied in a way by placing her head on Raven's neck. They slept through almost the whole night.
