Jean: It’s an easy question really. So you have feelings for both of them. Ask yourself this: Who do you trust the most? Who are you more comfortable with? Who do you think will never hurt you again?

Taehyung didn’t answer. He didn’t know what to write. He had different answers for all of these questions. Who did he trust? That would be Jimin. Even though Taehyung didn’t think Jungkook would betray him again, it would take a long time to trust him fully. Who was he more comfortable with? That would be Jungkook. Although they a long break in their relationship; he still felt comfortable, at home, free of his problems around him for some reason. Unlike around Jimin, where he still felt the rush and felt control of himself slipping from his hands, which horrified him and intrigued him at the same time.

And lastly, who did he think would never hurt him again? He didn’t really have an answer for that. He went between ‘neither’ and ‘both’. Both, because he trusted Jimin with his heart and knew Jungkook was too broken and too disappointed in himself to hurt him again. Neither, because people tended to betray his trust and hurt him all the time. He used to trust his dad when he said he’ll come to his soccer games, he used to trust his mom when she told him she’ll visit more often, he used to trust his friends before he figured out they were all hanging with him because of his money, he had trusted Jungkook once…

He just needed peace and quiet. He wanted everyone to go in order for him to think. But he knew that wouldn’t happen so he went back in. Jungkook and Jimin were talking, they didn’t notice him. Jimin was back at his place on the edge of the bed with his legs crossed. Jungkook was sitting right in front of him, with his back to the bed. He had leaned his head on Jimin’s legs. Jimin was mindlessly playing with Jungkook’s hair.

“Jungkook-ah, I’m sorry. I was just trying to get Tae jealous.”

“It’s- I- It’s okay. Just… you know I’m trying to make things better with him. The next time, help me, instead of wrecking everything.” He didn’t sound mad, just very tired.

“You’re right. I didn’t think about it. I-...” his voice trailed off. He was looking at the door. Jungkook followed his gaze. When he saw Taehyung, he immediately sat up, breaking any kind of physical contact with Jimin. He was looking down at the floor.

“I’m not mad at you Jungkook. I’m not mad at either of you actually.” He sounded surprised, like he was just figuring out himself. “Just don’t do that again!” he said, glaring at Jimin.

“I won’t.” Jimin got up off the bed and went to his boyfriend to give him a kiss. He put his arm around Tae’s shoulders while turning to Jungkook. Because of the height difference, he was meant to look awkward but instead he looked cute, Jungkook thought. He pushed away his thoughts with the pointless sense of jealousy he had felt out of nowhere. [IMG=SLI]

“What are we doing now?” Jimin asked.

“Homework?” Jungkook said. Both Jimin and Jungkook bursted out laughing. And they both stopped at the same time when they realised he wasn’t kidding.

“Come on guys. I have a better idea. Let’s go get ice cream, my treat.”

“I like that better.” Jimin said. They got their coats and went out, saying goodbye to Yoonji. She gave a cold glare to Jungkook, making him rush after the others.

The ice cream place was right around the corner. When they reached there, the staff welcomed them warmly. All of them knew Taehyung. He always visited the place and tended to leave a big tip when he was feeling good.

Rest of the evening was fun. They ate their ice cream, went back and played more games. After Jungkook insisted a while, they did their homework. After that, they just sat and talked. Talked about their lives, told funny stories. Because neither of them knew Jimin for more than a week, Jimin had a lot of stories to tell.
