"...Naoki Hanamori?"
(first name) continued to stare at the TV screen as she heard that familiar name even if she didn't know why she knew that name.
The newscaster explained more about the mysterious circumstances around the man's death. It was said that there are still unsolved questions about how exactly he was killed and especially by whom. The only things that were known were the date, location and fact that he was actually murdered.
(first name) started to feel gradually uneasier as more details were revealed. It wasn't just the murder of a random person, but of someone that she seemed to know.
"Naoki Hanamori... who was that? Oh, right... a colleague of my father?"
The last thing the newscaster said about this incident was that the murderer had to be on the loose and that they police would do anything to find them.
"Ugh, I'm gonna turn this off. This is creeping me out," (first name) said to herself and took the remote control to turn off the TV. Then, she threw the remote on the sofa and continued cleaning up her place to distract herself from the unwanted news.

Half an hour later, Touya finally arrived back home. The sound of the door opening made (first name) jump – she felt a bit paranoid after having heard the news.
"I'm back," Touya called and entered the living-room where (first name) was. There, he saw her looking really annoyed and confused.
"What's up with you?" He asked and put the bag with food on the table. (first name) decided to tell him what she had just heard and that it was the reason she was so sensitive right now.
"It's just shocking to see how small the world is! I mean, that was my dad's colleague. What are the odds?" She added.
"Your dad's colleague?" Touya repeated her statement as a question. "Naoki Hanamori was not your father's colleague."
"Huh? Did you know him?"
Touya simply dodged the question and said, "Let's eat, (first name). The food will become cold."
"Oh, right."

After eating, (first name) thanked Touya for the meal. The atmosphere was better – it wasn't gloomy and dark anymore. Yet, someone was able to drag it down again within seconds.
"Have you taken your pills yet?" Touya asked while cleaning up the table.
"God, not again," (first name) replied in an annoyed tone and sighed while still sitting at the table.
"You know what your doctor said."
"I literally don't know or remember anything and you exactly know that."
"That's what the pills are for, (first name)."
"Those shitty pills don't make my memory better again like you always claim!"
"Yes, they do. At least they should, but they don't because you never take them regularly. They also help you with your sleeping problems and hallucinations. If you stop taking them completely, your psychoses will become worse again," Touya explained in a serious tone while kneeling down in front of her. He knew that his girlfriend was stubborn, so he kept eye contact with her, hoping to reach her.
"I don't have any hallucinations," she countered more annoyed than before.
"Yeah, because of the pills."
"I'm not going to take them, Touya."
"(first name)," he slowly said and stood up. "Either you take them voluntarily or I will make you take them."
He was in a very bad mood. His voice sounded low and intimidating. It didn't happen often, so (first name) knew that he was pissed off. She didn't want the situation to escalate even more, so she finally agreed on taking the pills.
"Okay, okay, I got it. Calm down," she stood up and got a glass of water to end the discussion.
Of course, Touya had to control if she actually took the pills, so he stood right next to her during the process. And, of course, (first name) did as demanded – she didn't want to experience the consequences ever again.
Finally, Touya smiled again and patted his girlfriend's head. "See? It's that simple. I'm proud of you. Now go to bed before you collapse."
(first name) obediently did what he told her to do. Now she was in a bad mood, but she knew that the whole situation would have been way worse if she didn't listen to him. She went to the bedroom and sat down onto the bed. She didn't even bother turning on the lights – she just wanted to be alone and think of nothing.
She sat on the bed silently. There were no noises. She just sat there and stared at nothing in the dark. She did that for five minutes straight, but suddenly she became more and more anxious. The more she tried to gather her thoughts and memories together, the worse her state of mind got.
Her mind turned completely blank, her heart started to beat faster and she began to shiver. (first name) realized she should have gone to bed and not kept awake after taking the pills, but now it was too late.
Suddenly, she covered her ears as her blank mind was filled with many unknown and different voices, saying things she couldn't understand because the voices were all over the place and mixing with each other. There were male and female voices, old and young voices, high-pitched and deep-pitched voices, and the chaos didn't end there.
(first name) felt like her head would explode any moment, but as long as all of this would end, she didn't mind. She endured this torture until she couldn't take it any more of it and collapsed.
Her last whimpers left her throat and finally, everything became all silent.
