"...(first name), please wake up."

Touya...?

Finally opening her eyes, (first name) found herself wrapped in strong arms. She had absolutely no clue what happened or was going on at the moment. All she knew was that her boyfriend, Touya, had just been calling her name several times, telling her to wake up.

"Touya? What happened?" She asked as soon as she gathered the energy to speak. Still, she felt weak and vulnerable.

"(first name)!" Touya exclaimed loudly, making (first name) wince as a sudden pain shot through her head. "I was so worried," he said and pulled his girlfriend into a tight embrace.

"Stop it," she said and tried to loosen his grip on her, "you're crushing me."

"Sorry," he said and softened his embrace. "I'm just so glad you're doing okay," he finished and looked at her face. His words made her chuckle tiredly.

As she hadn't recovered yet, it took her a few minutes to get out of Touya's hug and get up. He, on the other hand, didn't like (first name)'s behaviour towards him – something was off.

"(first name)?"

"Okay? You're glad I'm doing okay? Are you blind or just fucking ignorant?" (first name)'s voice and choice of words were very harsh. She didn't even look at Touya as she said this. "I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I'm positive those pills of yours caused this!" She yelled despite it being late at night. This time she was fully looking at him.

At first, Touya didn't show any reaction – he just stood there, focusing on something else, so there was an uncomfortable silence between the two of them. This made (first name) even angrier as Touya seemed like he didn't even want to address the problem – and it wasn't just a simple problem, but a rather serious one.

"Aren't you going to say anyth–?!"

"So you're telling me all of this is my fault?" He interrupted (first name)'s next outbreak. He spoke in a quiet and calm tone unlike his girlfriend, yet his eyes were cold and his face looked disappointed. (first name) was angry at Touya's attempt to make himself look like the victim, but before she could say anything, Touya continued talking.

"I've been telling you the whole time that the pills are supposed to help you. Give me a reason why I would lie to you. Why would I want to see you suffering? This most likely happened because you take the pills so irregularly. I doubt there would have been a problem if you simply stopped being so stubborn and took them as prescribed."

His cold words made (first name) forget what she wanted to reply. She felt confused and conflicted.

Is... is he actually right? I mean, I never take them unless Touya makes me. No! No, no, no! That can't be...

Gaining the ability to speak again, she clenched her fists, ready to answer his lecture. "Stop lying to me! That– that doesn't even make any sense and–!" But before (first name) could finish her reply, the energy she had gained after her collapse slowly left and everything turned black again.

Awakening to a rustling sound, (first name) opened her eyes and was welcomed by the bright sunbeams that shone through the window into her bedroom. She sat up on her bed, but again, she felt a strong short pain in her head, making her groan.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry."

It was Touya's voice. As (first name) looked up, she saw Touya standing in front of her, bending down slightly. He put a hand to her head, checking her body temperature.
