The weeks following, Miromara was in a frenzy. Families reuniting, enemies captured and put away, and prisons and camps were freed. Mahdi, Neela, Becca, and any other available hand aided in families reuniting. Des took over in Sara's place.

Becca was able to set up tents around Miromara's capitol Cerulea that helped families reunite. Mahdi and Neela were working at the tent closest to the palace.

The sun was falling low in the sky, and night was falling. The night shift of volunteers were swimming up to the tent.

Mahdi was packing up, but found himself momentarily distracted.

"Mahdi! Hey, can you hear me?" Neela asked.

"What?" Mahdi asked.

"Did you hear what I said?"

"Well considering that I asked what, that probably means no."

"Well then. Are you ready?"

"Yes. Let me get a few things, then we'll go."

So Mahdi grabbed his things, and closed his bag. Together, Mahdi and Neela swan back to the palace.

"You're distracted. What is it?" Neela asked Mahdi.

"I think you know," was his response.

"You miss her don't you?"

"Yes."

"Are you going to visit her?"

"Yes."

The rest of their swim was in silence. That is, until they got inside the palace gates. There they found Yazeed and Becca arguing about something stupid yet again.

"Mahdi, tell Becca that I need to go when they go fight Abbadon," Yazeed said.

"I don't care. Take it up with the girls actually going," Mahdi said.

He continued to swim, and Yazeed and Becca continued to argue.

Once inside inside the palace, Mahdi went right to the infirmary. Hoping for a sign of life in Sera. Or even better, she was awake.
