•~Right When The Last Chapter Left Off // (Y/N) POV~•
The decorations on the walls shook when I yelled that, and some of the other children yelled from fright. Jacob just stared at me as if I had two heads, while Horace had his head hung and he was looking at the ground.

"Miss (L/N)! Watch your language young lady!" Miss Peregrine shouted at me from the other side of the table. She stood up and stomped over to me, "Miss Peregrine, I could hear them from half a mile away, even for my hearing, that's loud! And it didn't seem like you were doing anything to stop the argument." I said while staring right into her eyes, they stared back into mine and she said, "For your information, Miss (L/N), I was helping Olive with her seat and boots. Now, you've already gotten yourself in a lot of trouble, so go to your room. And you better stay there or else you'll be in even bigger trouble." She started to shout at me and I quickly ran up and into my room, the one that Miss Peregrine tried to make sound proof. Although it wasn't completely sound proof, it helped.

For the first time in a while, I screamed.

As I screamed, the pictures on my dresser broke, the glass holding the picture in them fully shattered and started to fall out. The wood of my bed, the wall, and the floor started to crack. The wood itself started to splinter, but then the splinters fell off and onto the floor.

My scream started to get quieter and I started to pace around. I was thinking of how unfair the bird is, they were full on screaming at each other, and I, being me, thought that a simple, quick shout would get their attention. She sure as hell wasn't doing anything about it. They could've killed each other and she'd still be fawning over Olive or Claire, or even Bronwyn.

As I'm mumbling and focused on all the ways that Miss Peregrine is unfair and unjust, I didn't notice Jacob slip into my room. "Hey, (Y/N), are you alright?" He asked me. I jumped, not noticing that he was in the room, "Of course I am, but I highly doubt that you are allowed in my bedroom. You know, privacy of a lady, and all that." He chuckles at me and sat on my bed, as he looked around he noticed the broken picture, floorboards, and walls. "It looks like a stampede was let loose in here...." he says while looking around as if he'd never seen something broken.

"Are you saying that I'm a wild animal?" I said in a teasing voice. He laughs awkwardly and rubs the back of his neck. "Of course not, I'd never call you that. It's just.. I'm not used to seeing stuff as odd as... this." He said while looking around the room. "Well, I'm sorry you had to witness this, usually people don't even have the nerve to look me in the eye after they hear me when I'm mad." I said while running my hand over my dresser, sweeping the splinters off and onto the floor, while sighing. This will all be fixed whenever the Bird resets the time loop. I turn around and look into Jacob's eyes, looking into his mind. "Does she always get this mad?" He thought while looking at his hands.

"Not often. Only whenever I feel like I need to. You don't have to worry, I won't bust your head open or anything. Unless you make me mad." I said, answering his question. His face got red and he looked at me, "Oh, I forgot you could read minds. Uhm, I guess that's good then.. I don't want my head to... you know." He said while laughing.

"Well, you might want to go to your room, Miss Peregrine will have an egg if she finds you in my room without her permission, she is extremely uptight whenever it comes to boys being in a girl's room." I led him to the door and as he walked out I said,
"I hope to see you tomorrow, przyjaciel."
