Josefina María Montgomery, a girl of Caucasian and Latin descent who has seen it all. Her parents mysteriously disappearing and being shoved into foster care due to there not being a godparent in the picture. Being adopted at the age of seven, two years after being shoved into the system. Being moved to a different state with nothing of her parents except for a broken music box.
They all seem like things to build the perfect messed up child.
She thought she experienced enough. From the randomly placed digits above her right wrist to the abuse she's been suffering from her foster father. The girl could just never get a break.
What could possibly be worse? she'd ask herself. Nothing.
The girl couldn't have been more wrong. Her best friend going missing after a night of fun was the worst. Now it's up to the rest of the party to get him back and return him to his normal life. However, the vanishing of her best friend was just the beginning for Josefina and the party, for their lives would never be the same.
