It was already dark outside. My brother and I just arrived at Lydia's house for her birthday party. Stiles had bought a huge present for her that was almost to big to carry.

"Do you want to ring the doorbell?" He asked with the thing in his arm. I just rolled my eyes and smiled as I did as he told. Lydia immediately opened and looked surprised as she saw the present.

"Happy birthday!" Stiles smiled as he looked at his crush.

"Yeah." Lydia said as she looked at me.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"Coming in. Can't. Okay. You know, you don't... You know, can you just grab the side, maybe?" Of course Stiles would struggle to get the present inside. It's bigger than him. I made him take a step back as I got inside. I smiled at Lydia and walked away as she followed me.

"Don't forget to try the punch." Lydia called at Stiles as she followed.

Scott, Stiles and I were standing outside with drinks as nobody was at the party yet. We just awkwardly stood there while Allison went to search for Jackson.

"Have you seen Jackson anywhere?" Stiles asked.

"No, seen Allison?" Scott replied.

"No, but we should probably tell her what we found."

"I'm still kind of not sure what we found." Scott said as he looked at his drink.

"I figured it had something to do with water. You know, the fact that all the victims were on the swim team, the way the kanima reacted around the pool." Stiles explained as he faced us.

"So whoever's controlling the kanima hates the swim team?"

"Hated the swim team. Specifically, the 2006 swim team. So it could be another teacher. Maybe like a student back then. I mean, who are we missing? What haven't we thought of?" I replied as I went to sit down. It was then that I saw Allison walked towards us again. She took a seat next to me.

"Uh, Jackson's not here."

"Yeah, no one's here." Stiles said as we looked around.

"Maybe it's just early." Scott answered with an awkward laugh.

"Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town wack job." Stiles corrected.

"Well, we have to do something, because we've completely ignored her for the past two week." Allison said as she looked at the girl, who was waiting for guests. I could tell she felt bad.

"She's completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years."

"I prefer to think of it as me not being on her radar yet." Stiles explained as we all looked at him. How can he be so positive about that?

"We don't owe her a party." Scott replied as he looked at Allison.

"What about the chance to get back to normal?"

"Normal?" I asked, confused.

"She wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us."

"I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here." Scott took his phone.

"Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going. Like, really going." Stiles also took his phone as he smiled.

"Who?" I laughed.

"I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party."

Stiles was right. It was already a full on party as there was loud music and drunk people everywhere. My brother, Scott and I were just sitting at a table as we talked about random stuff.
