"Whoa, whoa! What are you doing?!" I exclaim, staring at the Devaronian.

"What I do best, making a profit."

"You... sold us out. Didn't you," I ask, already knowing the answer.

"You've always been so perceptive," he says with a roll of his eyes. "Imperials will be here soon. So relax, take a seat. Let's chat."

"That's not happening," Ezra says, he closes his eyes and reaches his arm out, with a swift motion he waves his arm to the right, the gun escapes Gallerz grasp and goes flying into the wall. His eyes widen. "Who are you people?"

Sabine takes out her two pistols and backs up. "You won't have the chance to find out," she says coolly. "Come on, we've got to get out of here."

"The bigger question though," he pauses, staring right at me, "is why are you wasting your time with a street rat like her."

I glare back at him, my teeth clenched. And my fists rolled up.

Ezra nudges my arm. "We have to go," he says quietly.

I nod but keep eye contact with him. He only keeps that smug smirk on his face.

Sabine keeps him at gun point while Ezra and I make off with the parts. When we're safely out of sight she catches up with us. "We don't have much time. They'll send out a scout crew first but if they confirm we're here it'll mean trouble for this whole planet," she says.

"Just like last time," I mumble breathlessly, quickly leading them in and out of the streets.

"Last time?" Ezra asks.

"The last time people of this planet fought the Empire, they made examples of them, they were killed. After the Lesena's murder... everything got harder... for all of us." Like I mentioned before, they did a number on this planet, not even for the better.

"You can't possibly blame them for that," Sabine says.

"I don't.. I blame them for being ambitious."

"They were fighting for a good cause, they lost their lives because of it," Ezra counters.

"Yeah well, fighting isn't always worth it," I state. "But I doubt you two agree with me, I imagine you're just as selfless as they were."

Out of the corner of my eye I see them trade glances. Not long after, we're once again hidden safely inside the forest. Exhausted, we lean against the tall gray trees.

"I think we're okay..." Sabine says, "but we should repair the Ghost and get out of here as fast as possible."

"You're going to have to come with us," Ezra says, looking at me with his mesmerizing deep blue eyes.

I shake my head, "This is my home."

"But you helped us, the Empire will hunt you for that."

You have no idea... "Let them come, I have to stay here."

Ezra frowns, distain for my decision painted on his face. "That's suicide!" he exclaims.

"If I die, so be it."

"Why would you want to stay here if your own life is in danger?!"

"I'm... waiting for someone."

He shakes his head in anger. And even Sabine looks confused. "If you're dead, whoever you're waiting for won't find you."

"I can't..."

"You can't just stay here and die!"

"Why do you care."
