A single rotation hasn't gone by yet, but still I find myself getting closer to this crew. Though, it's hard not to, they're an amazing bunch of people, with qualities I hope to have one day. Introduction was fun because I already knew their names, all except Chopper, but still. We've come to a mutual agreement, they respect the fact I don't want to talk about my past and I don't get too involved in the rebel business.

"You like sitting up here, don't you?" Sabine asks, poking her head up from the ladder.

I turn around in my seat from the dorsal turrets and smile at her. "Just thinking about stuff," I reply quietly, glancing back at the stars that shine brightly behind me.

"That's cool, look, I wanted to talk about something, and don't take this the wrong way... but I really want to give you a makeover."

I frown and raise a skeptical eyebrow. "Why's that?"

"Just 'cause... I like giving things makeovers. Besides, don't you want to change out of those old, ratty clothes?"

I look down and remember my rags I've stuffed together just to cover my body. "I suppose..." I sigh, "Just... not the cloak, okay?"

She looks at me, her head tilting slightly. "Why would you want to keep that old thing?"

I smile at the thought. "My father used to wear this when he fought the Empire..."

She looks at me and smiles warmly. "Valid reason for keeping it. I could wash it up and repair it if you want."

I look at her blankly. "That... that would be amazing, thank you..."

She smiles and nods, telling me it wouldn't be a problem. I follow her to her room. Once inside she presses the closet button and watches it open. She then begins to scrounge around in her dresser for something.

"You don't know how nice it is to have another girl on board," she says, turning her head slightly and looking at me out of the corner of her eye.

I frown and chuckle, "Sabine, Hera is a girl."

I can tell by the way her head moves she's rolling her eyes. "Thanks for the update but I knew that already. I meant another girl my age, share secrets, talk. The normalities we don't always get around the rebellion."

I smile at the ground. "Yeah, I understand, I've never got much girl talk in my life either, all I had was my brother. He never was good at girl talk." I laugh.

She stops looking in her dresser. "You never told me about your family," she whispers, turning around to look at me.

I shrug my shoulders weakly. "There's not much to tell, parents are dead, brothers lost or... dead too," I say casually, like it's not traumatizing.

"I'm sorry..."

"It's fine. I'm over it."

"That's not something you just get over."

I clear my throat, "You were gonna find me an outfit or something?" I say, trying to change the subject.

She looks at me for a second then turns to her dresser again, "I've got a wrap I think might fit you, you're only a little smaller than I am. I've picked up some spare armor from different places that should do alright on you too, it's not Mandalorian but it'll do. I can change the colors if you like."

"Anything you can spare is perfect, I'm not much for fashion. As you can obviously tell..." I chuckle, looking down at the brown scraps I wear.

She smiles and gives me the clothes, walking out of the room and letting me change. When I'm finished, I walk out, fiddling with the armor that goes on my shoulder. Sabine laughs and helps me fix it, "What do you think?"
