"You want help unpacking?" Hailey asks. All of the other girls were going to shower now, which I found kind of stupid because they're gonna smell like fire afterword anyway. "It's 7:30 now and the fire starts at 8 o'clock so we have a half hour."
"Thanks." I begin to unpack my suitcases into my dresser. Everyone gets their own dresser and we share a closet to hang jackets and dresser or whatever.
The half hour goes fast, the girls come back from showering and I've finished unpacking. "Everyone ready to go?" Nina asks.
"Yup, let's head out!" We follow Jordyn out and towards the area I'm guessing they hold the fires at. We walk about 2 minutes before I see a warm- orange glow appear and I hear a whole bunch of people talking.
"Let's go sit over there." Emily points to an empty bench. "Finn and his friends are over there too!"
"Oh my god!" Hailey runs over to one of the boys and hugs him from behind. I hear squealing as we all walk over to them.
"I guess we forgot to tell you that Hailey has an ongoing thing with Drew." Nina whispered in my ear as we go near where the boys are sat down. "She doesn't like to admit it but we all know they have feelings for each other."
"And I am guessing all of you have guys here as well." I chuckle.
"Kind of. It's kind of just a summer crush. Emily likes Mike, Jordyn likes Zach and I like Chris." Nina looks over at the boys. "Would you mind if I went to go talk to them? It's just-"
"Nina, go. I'll be fine." I sit down on the bench beside me and warm my hands by the fire. It's nice that I'm able to get along with my cabin mates because if I didn't, this summer would definitely have been a living hell. I look around and see everyone bonding with their old friends and decide it's about time I become more outgoing.
"Leigh! Come say hi to our friends!" I get up as Hailey calls me over and stand in front of everyone.
"Hey, I'm Leigh." I smile at the boys and wait for their introductions.
"Drew." The boy Hailey was hugging.
"Mike." Emily's guy.
"Zach." Kind of looks like a young DiCaprio. Good call, Jordyn.
"Chris." I look over to Nina and wink, she's already attached to his hip.
"And I'm Finn." I look behind me to where the voice sounded from. Great, he's even more gorgeous from up close.
"Nice to meet you all." My eyes stay locked with Finn's until I know I was staring too long. Literally all of the boys in front of me are hot. What kind of water are these boys drinking because I need some of it.
"Wanna sit?" I hear in my ear. Seeing as everyone else is back to their previous conversations in front of me, I already know who it is.
"Sure." I turn around and sit on the bench behind me. "So..."
"So..." Finn mocks me, dragging out the 'o'. "Wanna play 21 questions?"
"I didn't think I would be playing this in person. But sure." I lean my elbows on my knees and my chin in my palms. "What do you want to be when you get older?"
"An actor, I've always wanted to be an actor." Finn stares into the fire.
"You're definitely good looking so I think you'll be just fine." I mumble.
"What was that?" Finn questions. I stare at him blankly as he shrugs it off. "Ever been in a relationship you regret?"
"You can't regret something that's never happened so no."
"Wait, are you serious?" Finn turns his body so he's facing me.
"About me not dating anyone? Are you kidding? No one would ever give me the time of day." I chuckle. What does he mean am I serious? Why wouldn't I be?
"That's a lie." Finn says in disbelief. "Guys, come here!" The group of girls and boys get up and walk over to where me and Finn are sitting.
"What's up?"
"How many guys has Leigh dated?" Finn asks the group as if telling them to guess.
"2" is said at least 3 times and "3" is said 4 times.
"You guys are joking right?" I laugh. "That's hilarious."
"Were we under?" Emily, along with everyone else, look confused at me.
"Guys, stop joking around, you look stupid. I haven't dated anyone... ever."
"You're shitting me right?" Drew speaks up.
"And why would I do that?" I stand up. "Look at me and then look at the rest of you. It's like I'm am the before and you're the after in those plastic surgery pictures. You guys are like all basically stunning."
"Looks like we will have to do some convincing then." Finn lays his arm around my shoulder and smiles.
