Day two. Was I ready? I'm not sure but, I arrived at school as early as the previous day.
"Would you like me to park elsewhere, Love? To avoid another altercation like yesterday's events?" Aurora Alizé asked.
"Absolutely not Alizé. I don't care about her stupid rule. She is no one to me. Park in the same spot."
"As you wish, Love."
"Thank you Alizé, I know you're only trying to be of help."
"Of course Love. It is my pleasure not only to serve, but to also protect you. See you after school." She lifted the driver door to let me out. I grabbed my things and stepped out of her way, to lower the door. Today I sported a white t-shirt dress, cinched at the waist with a black jacket I tied around me. I kept every thing simple with a pair of trainers and the usual jewelry.
"Thank you Alizé, you can power down." I leaned against my car as a chrome white Lüm with black tinted windows pulled in next to me. The suicide door of the driver side revealed Mace, stepping out as if she were to step directly onto a runway.
"Power down Lüm. Hey Blue girl." She teased and shut the door.
"At once Mistress Gaia. It is my pleasure to serve you." The mechanical male voice replied.
"Hey princess Elsa." I replied.
"Touché." She pointed and laughed.
"On Kacia's helipad again huh?" She grinned and crossed her arms.
"It's not hers . It's for whoever gets to it first. If she wants it she's going to have to beat me to it."
"Lux, I like you. Fearless." she chuckled. I shrugged off the compliment.
"Nah, it's just like I said before, I'm no punk bitch. Besides it's not like you're afraid of her, are you?"
Mace gave me a look that said "oh please". I let out an animated laugh.
"Hell the fuck no I'm not scared of Kacia. But, she sure is scared of me. She mainly tries to stay on my good side because she knows that I'm a key link in her wanna-be-never-gonna-be relationship with my twin. She wants him and the billions. Over my dead body. She's a new elite. New elites always find ways to annoy me, not all of them, but the ones like her. I don't hide my distaste for her, but she acts like I'm joking. Dumb bitch." We laughed as it dawned on me that I hadn't seen him yet.

"Speaking of him, where is he?" I inquired.

"You see that black Lüm with the red trim? That's him. He took the twin thing too far. He's eight minutes older than me, but sometimes, he acts like a child. He didn't know what car he wanted to upgrade to when we were shopping for new ones, so he stole the kind I picked and got it before me. Then had the nerve to say I copied him. Idiot." I shook my head with a laugh.
"You two seem really close. Like best friends even." I concluded.
"We are. He's annoying, but, he's literally my other half." She smiled looking at his car. "Let's go inside. Kavan and Xiv are at the vessels," she said, linking her arm in mine. And so the staring on day two began.

We stepped off the helipad as Kavan walked up to us. "What's up Molly?" He winked at Mace. She slapped his arm playfully, making him flinched backwards laughing.

"Don't fucking call me that you ass!" She laughed, eyes wide, before redirecting her attention to me. "He thinks that it's okay to call me that because I recreated it out of curiosity and tried it... once. I'm big on chemistry and was pretty curious what a drug from the 21st century was like. It was a horrible experience, a zero out of ten, I'd NEVER doing that again." Their playfulness amused me.
Kavan turned to me, "Hey... Lux right?"
"Yeah, you got it." I smiled at him.
"Aight good, how you doin' ma?" He said as he pulled me into a side hug.
"I'm good, just chillen like a villain." I laughed.
"Aye that's wassup, I'm feelin' that. I prefer the the villains to the heroes anyways. They have more fun." he smiled And dapped my fist. I jumped a little as an unexpected out voice bellowed behind me.
"WHAT'S HANNNNNN HOMIES WE TURNT UP IN THIS BIT-"
"Xavion! It's 8 o'clock in the damn morning, can you calm down? You're the only one this hype this early." Mace interrupted. Xiv scrunched his face and rolled his eyes.
"That's why I ain't gon' say hi to you. Always killin' my vibe and shit." Kavan and Mace laughed at Xiv like he was their personal jester. He was hilarious. "That's why I'm going to say hi to my NEW friend Lux, at least she's nice and quiet." He sauntered over and bear hugged me, I laughed and patted his back.
"No, I'm not too quiet, I'm just not a morning person," I chuckled, "Plus, I find it best to chill sometimes." I told him.
