Chapter Two
Tristan's POV
We exited the meeting room and headed for the blue elevator that would take us back to our sections. Our sections are like the mundie equivalent to a dorm room.
We left the elevator and began walking down the long corridor to our rooms. "London, England!" Daisy squealed.
"Man, Daisy, you're getting really excited for this mission tomorrow." Trevor laughed. "Well, this is the first time I'll be leaving the state, let alone the country! Maybe it's a girl thing." Daisy smiled, nudging me with her elbow. "How come you're not a huge girl when it comes to things like this?" Zack asked me.
"Because there's no point to getting excited about it. We're just going to London to pick up some princess. Really meaning, we're babysitting. What's the fun in that?" I explain.
"You'd get to be with the hottest princess all day!" Nate exclaimed, throwing his hands up over his head in excitement. "You're such an idiot." I say.
"Oh, you know I'm right." He winked at me. "Oh, please." I shoved him a little. Daisy and I stopped at our door while the boys kept walking to their room. There's a keypad outside the door and I typed in: 3-8-7-8. The door clicked unlocking itself and I turned the knob, walking in.
*****
Daisy is my best friend. She has been ever since I was eight and I came to this agency. Daisy's the daughter of Alice.
Yunno, the one that claimed she went to Wonderland? Kind of a basket case. But Daisy says her mother was always fun and outgoing, so I guess that's where she gets it from.
Daisy has a catchphrase that her mother came up with. "You can learn a lot of things from the flowers." I guess that's why Daisy was named Daisy. Although, unrelateably, she controls fire and its heat. Crazy, huh?
Nate's pretty cool too. I met Nate when I was nine, that's when he came to the agency. I remember the first time we held a conversation. We both liked the idea of having powers and how cool it would be to actually go out on a mission.
We both shared the same dream and we'd been best friends ever since. Nate doesn't know who his father is. His dad left before he was old enough to hold a memory. But his dad had to be able to fly because that's where Nate got his talent from.
Now Zack, we go way back. He used to live in the same neighborhood as Trevor and me. He was one of the cooler kids. Always funny, knew just how to push your buttons at the right time, and was just a cool kid.
But now it's like everywhere he goes you have to expect his laptop to be there. I guess that's why he's a computer genius.

Daisy sprinted to her bed, jumping up and down shouting, "London, England! London, England! Ay-ay Captain!" I laughed hysterically at her.
"Would you get down from there? People can probably hear you!" I grab her hand and pull her down. "Ay-ay Captain!" She giggled. "You're so weird." I muttered walking to the closet, getting my backpack out.
"Being weird is how I express my excitedness, T." She shrugged. I walk to my drawers, take clothes out and place them on my bed. "Why aren't you packing yet?" I smirk, knowing this will irritate her.
With no hesitation she stands back up and begins to proceed jumping up and down. "Because I'm not done being weird yet!" She growled, laughing. I organize the order I put my clothes in my backpack, close it and set the backpack on the floor. I crawl into bed, and get under the covers.
"When you break your neck, I hope you'll be able to reach the phone." I tease, continuing to get comfy. She jumps down from her bed by falling on her back.
"It's just - I'm so excited!" Daisy squealed. I laughed, sitting up in the bed. "Well, you better get to packing." I chuckle. "Help me pack?" Daisy smiles. I get out of bed and climb over her bed.
"What are best friends for?" I smile bumping her hip with mine. We both laugh heartily at ourselves.
Nate's POV
The girls open their door and Trevor, Zack, and I walk back to our room. I type in our code and open the door. I look at Trevor who's smiling like an idiot.
"What are you smiling about?" I ask. "Daisy, she's so funny." He smiled, getting his backpack out from the closet. He grabbed mine and Zack's and tossed them to us.
"Ha, you like her!" Zack blurted. "Would you keep your voice down?" Trevor whispered. "Yunno, Trev, it's a little too easy to tell when you like someone." I blurted. "How so?" He rebutted.
"Remember when you liked May and you bought her flowers and an engagement ring because she touched your arm for four seconds?" Zack blurted. "Oh shut up. That doesn't count! I was young!" Trevor shouted. "That was last week!" Zack laughed.
"Well, shut up, Zack." Trevor huffed. "Why should he? It's the truth." I pointed out, bringing my backpack to my drawers. "Nate, you can't say anything." Zack said, giving me a look. "And just why not?" I say, putting my backpack by my bedside table.
"Because everyone knows you like Tristan." Zack smirked. "What? I don't like Tristan." I explained. "Yeah, you keep telling yourself that." Zack laughed. "You know it's true when even her twin brother can tell." Trevor added. "I don't! Tristan's my best friend, so what? It doesn't mean anything." I explain.
"Uh-huh, sure." Trevor and Zack said in unison.
I threw my boxers at Trevor when he caught it and stuck his hand out when a white fire beam came screaming at me. I jumped up, floated, and flew over the the other side of my bed. "Are you crazy? You would've iced me to the floor!" I gulped, looking at the floor which had a white mark on it.
"Don't throw your stupid boxers at me!" Trevor exclaimed. "Come on, it was a joke!" I rebutted. I grabbed his backpack and held it behind my back. "You really think hiding it behind your back is gonna stop me?" Trevor laughed.
"No, but I am gonna go to the girls' room. Maybe ask Daisy to bury it with me. Yunno, burn it. While we're at it we can talk about someone's big, fat crush on her?"
Trevor smirked widely.
Crap. "You know what? Sure, let's go! Then we can go talk to Tristan too." I threw back his backpack to him.
"Thanks." He caught it with one hand and smirked. "So, Trevor, what are you gonna do to get close to Daisy during this mission?" Zack asked. "What do you mean?" Trevor questioned, finishing his packing.
"Yunno, gentlemen stuff. Give her a flower, hold her hand," I paused for dramatic effect, "kiss her." I added, knowing it'll bother him.
Trevor looked a little stunned. "Kiss her?" he gulped. "Well you like her, don't you?" Zack raised an eyebrow, smiling at me.
Trevor put down his backpack next to his bedside table. "Well, yeah, but-" Trevor admitted without any realization.
Zack and I look at each other and knew what the other is thinking. We both stand up on our beds, bang on the walls, and shout, "Trevor likes Daisy! Trevor likes Daisy! Trevor likes Daisy!"
Trevor screamed for us to shut up. Zack and I were laughing hysterically. "Trev, we were just kidding." Zack laughed.
"Well, I don't know, if she likes me back." Trevor explained. "That's the point of the gentlemen stuff. You'll know if she likes you, dude." I say trying to calm myself down from laughing so hard.
"Does Tristan know?" Trevor smirked, trying to get payback. I glared at him. Trevor and Zack laughed. "Goodnight." I huffed. "Night!" They teased in a sing-song tone.
