Stacey's P.O.V.
"Stacey, Stacey look!" Claire yelled, kicking her feet, causing the swing she was in to get higher and higher.
"Awesome job," I smiled, leaning against a bar that was connected to the swing set.
"Where's Bubby?" she asked, looking over at me.
"He's at basketball practice right now, sweetie," I explained.
"Can we go see him?" she begged, trying to slow the swing herself.
"We can try but I don't think he'll be able to talk when we get there," I said, slowing the swing for her.
"Yay!" she yelled, hopping out and grabbing my hand, beginning to drag me the direction of the school.
Ever since the first day I took care of Claire, I've taken care of her everytime he had practice or his parents got out of hand, which seemed to happen more and more lately.

"Whoa, your school is big," Claire mused, walking into the doors.
"Yea, it's pretty big," I laughed, looking at her as he eyes filled with wonder.
"Ky," Claire squeled, releasing my hand as I frantically tried to hang on to it.
"Hey Claire Bear," Kyle appeared out side of the gym with a smile.
"Sorry, tried to keep her away but she really missed you," I said, walking up to them.
"You're fine, we just got out anyways," He explained, lifting Calire up.
"Do you need me for anything else right now?" I asked, looking around.
It was still weird that Kyle and I could talk without getting into a fight, but at the same time it was nice.
"Not right now, but thanks," he smiled.
"No problem, you know where I live if you need me," I nodded, and looked down at Claire. "Goodnight, Claire, see ya later."
"Bye Stacey," she smiled and hugged my legs one last time before running back to Kyle.
"Bye," I called, walking out of the building.
"Wait, wait up Stacey!" Kyle called from behind me.
I spun around to see him running after me, with Claire in his arms.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Here," he said, holding out a twenty dollar bill.
"What? I cant,"I insisted.
I didn't know much about his home life, but I knew enough to know that they needed that money more than I did.
"Please, take it," he said, keeping it's hold.
"Here, tell you what, instead of paying me with money, why don't you just let me wach her and sometime you tell me about what's really going on," I bargained.
"Fine," he sighed.
I began to turn around when I noticed a weird mark on Kyle's shoulder and tried to get a look at it.
"You ok, Stacey?" he asked, waving a hand in front of my face.
"Yea," I shook my head, but my eyes were immediatly drawn to the mark, and I couldn't help but ask. "Hey, Kyle what happened with that mark?"
