Buzz Buzz.
Ew, I hate alarms. I reach in the direction of the vibrating sound but find myself locked into place. I look down and see a tattooed arm across my body, and realize the warmth of Harry's bare chest against my back. This is the second time we've ended up in my apartment alone like this. Wait a second..
Did we...?
I look down, and see I'm still in my dress. Thank god. I know I was drunk last night but hopefully not that drunk. I untangle myself from Harry's grip without waking him and turn off my phone. It's 9:30 which is still pretty early for me, especially on a Sunday. I change out of my dress, and into pajama pants and my nirvana tshirt. I decide to go to my kitchen and make a pot of coffee in my newly purchased machine.
What the hell happened to me last night? I remember the club, I remember the man and Harry saving me, but I can't remember driving home. I vaguely remember Harry carrying me, and I can remember crystal clear asking him to stay with me. I don't know what came over me, but a part of me was happy I asked him to. Drunk or not.
I toss some Eggo waffles in the toaster, and I hear a rustling coming from my bed. I walk over to the archway that is the entrance to my small 'bedroom'. It's not even a real bedroom. My flat is tiny. There are no separate rooms except for the bathroom. I lean against the arch's frame, and watch Harry as he sits up. He rubs his eyes repeatedly, then runs his fingers through his hair.
"Sleep well?" I ask breaking the silence.
He makes eye contact with me and falls right back to lay his head back on the pillow.
"Didn't sleep enough." His voice is deep and groggy. I'm a bit taken back by how attractive it sounds, but I contain myself. He peeks one eye open at me and smiles.
"What?" I say with a smirk.
"Nothing. You were just insanely drunk last night. Can you even remember anything?" He paused taking me in. "When did you change?"
"When I woke up. That dress isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. And I can remember some things okay. It'll all come back to me at some point." I'm trying to act casual, but his tattoos are distracting me. It's the first time I've seen his chest ones, because I've never trusted myself seeing him half naked. Yet, here I am, and now I know exactly why I avoided this. My cheeks heat, and my mind is clouded with thoughts of Harry.
Not very clean ones at that...
*pop*
My waffles bring me back to reality. I turn to grab them, but I hear Harry's feet hit the floor. One little peak won't hurt...
His back was facing me and I was mesmerized by his muscles. His back muscles contracted with every move. I watched him as he picked his black tshirt off of the floor and pulled it over his head. When he went to grab his phone from the night stand I retreated to my waffles.
"Uh-oh." Harry mumbled under his breath while he scrolls through his phone m. He ran his fingers through his hair as he started to walk toward me. He took a seat on one of my bar stools.
"What?" I ask as I pour syrup across my breakfast.
"Apparently we're dating." he says as he shows me his phone. It's a picture of me holding onto his arm outside of the restaurant we ate breakfast at yesterday.
"Well shit." I say jokingly while I'm actually screaming on the inside. "We aren't though, so it's not like it's an issue right? Can't you just like tweet or something that we aren't an item?" I'm starting to panic. What if my sister sees? What if my boss sees? I don't want to become public. Holy hell.
"I dunno. We'll clear it up, I won't say anything yet. I'll have a chat with Liam first. But, people will realize we aren't." Harry mumbles and sets his phone down.
"Well you sleeping over regularly probably isn't helping our case." I laugh as I take a sip of my coffee and offer Harry a cup, trying to calm myself down.
"Whoa whoa. You asked me to stay last night okay? I wasn't the one who was too drunk to stand." he teases.
"It was a moment of weakness." I wink back. "Oh and feel free to eat whatever you want. Sorry I don't have a wide selection." I really needed to go grocery shopping. I've just been too lazy.
"Thanks, and I don't think it will be an issue of me staying the night here." Harry admits, and my heart skips. Why?
"And why is that Styles?" I smirk at him causing him to blush a little bit. I like the effect I have on him sometimes.
"They don't know where you live, or that I come here."
"Aha, so that's why you're over here so often. To hide out? Interesting." I sip on my coffee mug, trying to make it seem like I accused him of using me. I know he doesn't but it's so easy to tease Harry. I glance side ways at him, and he puts his hands on his hips.
"Okay now you know for a fact that's not why I come over here." he paused and grabs one of my waffles. "I come here for the free food obviously." he takes a huge bite out of my waffle and I punch him in the arm.
