Harry POV:

Hayley popped up from my lap in no time flat and headed toward the kitchen faster than I've ever seen. I ran after her but she was already talking to my mother, but I was fuming behind her.

What the hell is Taylor Thomas doing showing up at my girlfriend's office?

Hayley was already engaged in conversation with my mother whilst tossing the salad in the kitchen.

"Hayley." I clenched my jaw to try and keep my cool. "A word."

"One moment, babe. I'm going to help finish up. After dinner?" She looked up at me with innocent eyes, fueling my anger.

"Now." I demanded.

"Harry, that is no way to speak to a lady." My mother scolded my tone and impoliteness. I glared back at my mum and my girlfriend.

"Hayley, may we please have a word? Now?" I repeated myself, hiding my anger horribly.

"Harry, she said after dinner. Now go." My mother ordered me out of the kitchen. I sighed in anger and frustration and stomped out of the room into the formal living area.

I paced back and forth while listening the clinking of dishes and silverware as someone set the table. Furiously running my fingers through my hair.

I was torn. I was pissed because Taylor fucking Thomas won't leave my Hayley alone and I was worried because her sister called her. I knew Hayley's family situation wasn't good and she hated talking about it. Although, I also knew that I've told Hayley five hundred times to stay the hell away from Taylor and yet she still sees him regularly. She saw him yesterday for crying out loud.

After pacing for a solid ten minutes and over thinking every single thing - my mum called me in to eat.

I sat across the table from Hayley, where she avoided my piercing stare like a pro. We made eye contact for the first time when she passed the salad to Niall who was sitting next to me. Her gaze was innocent and flirty, as if she was trying to distract me. She batted her eyelashes a couple times at me looking away seconds after. It wasn't until she bit her bottom lip and connected her eyes to mine, I almost lost it. Her toes were nudging my ankles and sliding up my leg, making me puddy in her hands.

"Stop." I mouthed at her and she just giggled, immediately changing her focus to a story Louis was telling about our day in the recording studio where Liam threw up in the sound booth.

Hayley kept throwing flirtatious glances at me as if it would settle my anger in any way. I was definitely going to shag her later, but after I got pissed at her for seeing Taylor.

"Harry?" A voice broke me out of my trance.

"Yes, what?"

"Are you excited for the tour? It's coming quick, isn't it?" Robin asked, making conversation.

"Oh yeah. It's going be to great getting out there again. Niall and I were talking about it the other day actually. Some of the new songs sound really good live." I was smiling because I was excited. Touring was what made almost everything worth it.
It wasn't until I looked across the table that I realized what going on tour actually meant.

Leaving Hayley.

She was smiling, but it didn't reach her eyes. She sipped her whine and nodded along in the conversation, but it was bothering her.

"I'm sorry, but will you excuse me for just a second?" Hayley stood up from her chair and walked out of the room. No one noticed she was upset; I was probably the only one who could really tell.
I followed her out without another word. She was sitting on the front porch steps with her head in her hands. I sat down next to her.
