"What the hell just happened?" I heard Harry say. I think it was meant for himself and not for me to hear.
"You agreed to go on a date with some random girl. What's gotten into you Haz?" Louis asks him as we start to walk out of the club. Louis is completely smashed, but somehow registered what happened a mere minutes ago.
"I don't know mate." The green eyes boy replied. I know I wasn't supposed to be hearing any if this, but I probably won't remember it tomorrow any way. I start to stumble, and Harry catches me.
"You are never drinking again." Harry half laughs at me, but he's still serious.
"You can't make me do anything." I snap, annoyed but still slightly amused.
"Okay, okay love. Let's get you home." he eases me and helps me into the limo.
I pass out once we are in the car, and I feel Harry nudge me awake after what feels like hours. I groan and don't open my eyes.
"I'll take her up, and get her settled in. I'll find a way back." I hear Harry tell the boys, and they all bid their drunken farewell to him. We must be back at my building.
Before I can register what's happening Harry has picked me up bridal style, and carrying me into my building. I don't say anything because I don't think I can walk. I can feel his steady heartbeat through his shirt, and it's soothing. I love the sound.. I mean, I like the sound his heart makes. He holds me the entire elevator ride in silence, until I hear a ding and he starts to walk into my apartment. The familiar vanilla scent invades my nostrils and it's comforting.
He lays me on my bed and takes my shoes off for me. It was such a simple and sweet gesture, that it made a small smile wipe across my face. He lifted me up again and placed me at the top of my bed and pulled the covers over me. I feel his body getting closer to mine, but I don't react. I feel his lips make contact with my forehead and I hear him stalk toward the elevator.
That was the cutest, most adorable thing anyone has done to me. It was such a little thing, but I was completely taken back. My cheeks heated immediately at the gesture. I was shocked to be perfectly honest.
"Harry?" I slur. I hear his footsteps stop. I open my eyes and sit up to make eye-contact with him.

"Harry?" her voice makes me spin around. I've never liked my name more then when it comes out of her mouth, even in her drunken state. We lock eyes in the darkness of her flat. The city lights beaming through her windows enough to illuminate one side of her face. Her blue eyes glistening with drunkenness. She's hypnotizing.
"Don't leave." her words take the air right of my lungs. She wants me to stay?
"Please stay." She answers my thoughts. There's nothing I wanted more than to stay with her, but I also didn't want to scare her away.
"I'm not going anywhere." I try to comfort her thoughts. I want to desperately lie in her bed with her, but I go to lay on the couch. Her voice stops me again.
"Harry?"
"Yes love?"
"Come here." How drunk was she? She's not clingy at all, and she's very independent. These things I know from hanging out out with her so much. Needless to say, I'm curious on what she wants from me. She doesn't like closeness, I've noticed.
I walk to her bed and kick my shoes off. I pull her covers up and get inside, keeping a safe distance between us. We are friends. I feel like I've told myself that sentence a million times since the first time we've hung out.
She turns on her side to face me. Her intoxicated eyes meet mine, and it hits me on how drunk I really am. Not quite as hammered as Hayley, but still tipsy.
"Thank you Hare." She's never called me that before, but it's now my favorite nickname.
"For what?" I smile. She let's out a ridiculous giggle.
"For wot?" She mocks me in an accent that's not even close to mine.
"I like listening to you talk." she admits with another giggle.
"Why are you laughing?" I ask, chuckling myself.
"I'm really, really, really drunk Harry."
"I've realized that." I crack a smile.
"I mean, we could do anything and I probably wouldn't even remember it tomorrow." She bites her lip locking eyes with mine...what? She's killing me right now. Is she suggesting what I think she's suggesting because I don't trust myself around her. I become more and more infatuated with the girl every moment I spend with her. She's at the point of hinting sex to me and I'm frozen. Our faces are literally inches from each other. I can feel her hot breath rush over my face. If I don't do something soon, things will happen, amazing things will happen..
I break our gaze and stare at the ceiling. Dammit Harry. I'm not saying I don't want to... because lord do I want to..
"What did you have in mind?" I swallow hard.
"I'm just really really drunk." She repeats and it makes me smile.
"Let's talk about this in the morning when your sober." I say it out loud like it's meant for her, when honestly I'm only trying to stop myself from what could happen. We lay in silence. I look over at her and she fast asleep. I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
Hayley Stewart. The girl lying less than a foot away from me. The girl who was just begging me to kiss her. The girl who liked Harry, before she knew Harry Styles. The girl with the bluest eyes I've ever seen. The girl with a sense of humor, and could laugh at herself. The girl I daydreamed about all day. The girl I was completely and totally head over heals for.
