“Being with you is like dancing in the summer rain. It’s like sleeping in my own bed after I’ve been away for too long. It’s like miles of highway stretching out before me, with no other cars in view. It’s like running through sprinklers on a scorching day. It’s like receiving a letter I’ve waited so long for. It’s like finishing a five thousand-piece puzzle. Life’s not perfect, but when you’re with me, it’s pretty damn close. I love you Yssa. Always and Forever Babe.”

I closed his note for me and start to admire the beauty in front of me.

It’s Summer again at nasa Batangas ulit kami. Every year nalang siguro kami nandito since you know.

I suddenly felt an arm surrounding my waist. It felt warm.

We had been like this everyday.

Cheesy it may seem, atleast we are happy.

“Good morning Babe.” He kissed me on my cheeks and rested his head on my shoulder. “How’s your sleep?”

“It was good, ikaw ba? You woked up pretty early.” I asked him back. Sanay na kasi akong mauuna akong gumising kaysa sa kanya.

“One of the best sleep that I had. Ikaw kasi ang nagpatulog sa akin.” He cheerfully answered me.

“Loko.” I smiled.

He suddenly showered me with tiny kisses on my neck. He knows that it tickles me very much. He’s starting it again.

“Hey, stop. Hahaha!” But he didn’t stop of course.

I faced him and pouted.

“Nakikiliti na ako eh.” I said. Napalayo naman siya sa akin since humarap ako sa kanya.

Tinigilan niya nga pero tinawanan naman ako.

“Naglalambing lang. Babe naman eh.” He closed our distance by leaning his forehead onto mine.

I smiled on his act. Naramdaman ko pa ang pamumula ko.

“Mukha ka na namang tomato, Babe.” He teasingly said.

“Kasi naman eh. *pout*” I answered him back. He suddenly smiled. Yung tipong hanggang heaven. Shibs. Cloud9 na naman ang feeling namin.

“You never fail to make me smile.”

I can feel drumbeats in my body.

Then he started kissing me on my forehead.

On my eyes.

On my nose.

On my cheeks.

“Thank you for making me this happy. Hindi mo alam kung gaano ako naging kasaya simula ng nakilala. You made my life complete. I love you so much Yssa.” He said.

“Calvin, thank you for loving me. And you know that you already mean the world to me. I love you more.” I told him.

Then he kiss me on my lips.

Full of passion.

Full of desire.

Full of love.

It’s been ten years since we met. And basically we were just strangers in each others life. I wasn’t expecting him to be part of my life, he wasn’t expecting it either.

I was just a nobody that he noticed looking blankly at the fireworks in the sky.

He was just a somebody who saw me taking pictures the night where I’m already decided to leave everything behind.

To leave Kristofer Santos behind.

And I’m happy that I did.

Even though he hurted me, I’m thankful for that. Kasi kung hindi niya un ginawa, hindi ako makakakilala ng taong mas better, mas mabait, mas gwapo at mas mamahalin ako.

Because now I have the all reasons to be happy. Because I know someone does loves me now. Because I know I already have the person that would fight for me.

Bacause I know I deserve to be with him.

I deserve to be with Calvin Sy.

I deserve to be Mrs. Yssa Marie Francisco-Sy. :)
