Chapter 9 - Why, Masaomi?

Third P.O.V.

Masaomi had brought his beloved home without saying so much as a word to her no matter what she said and how much she tugged back her hand. His grip would only increase until the point circulation was being cut off.

"Masaomi you're hurting me!" Jessica shouted in a way she never did before. This caused the blonde to stop in his tracks letting her go immediately. He turned to his girlfriend and watched her rub her bruised and swollen wrist. That snapped him back to reality.

"Sorry." His head dropped, he felt really bad.

"Masaomi, why did you do that? What if he dies?" The poor pinkette was scarred. Kain's face contorted in pain. The blood he coughed up. She would be lying if she didn't want to run back and see if he was okay. Jess had no idea why she thought like this.

Jess's P.O.V.

"Masaomi, why did you do that? What if he dies?"

Why am I worrying so much? That guy...Kain. His name was..no is, his name is Kain. He's still alive. I hope he's still alive. As I thought about my abductor my heart raced. Why do I feel like this about him? I just met him, a-and I have a boyfriend, whom I love deeply...but right now after that incident I don't know what to think, my thoughts are all mixed. I looked at Masaomi and he hardly looked happy. Although his expression hasn't changed since we left Kain's place.

"Why do you care about him? He kidnapped you? He wouldn't hurt you if I didn't do something about!" I could hear the venom in his voice. It made me scared. And I got upset.

"He wasn't going to hurt me." I said softly.

"And how do you know that?" Masaomi's voice was anything but gentle.

"Because I believe that if he wanted to hurt me he would've. But the only person hurting me right now Masaomi is you." Tears filled my eyes and blurred my vision. But I saw Masaomi's face changed.

"Jess I-..." I cut him off by running away. I didn't want to listen to what he had to say.

I ran and ran and I ran. I didn't even know where I was running until I stopped to catch my breath. I wiped away my tears.
