Chapter 10 - An Angel

Kain's P.O.V.

"Well my curious kitty I shall tell you since Masaomi seems he doesn't want to," I turned to face Jess. Her braided hair disheavled. She looked quite cute. Especially since I can see her better in the light. I opened my mouth to begin explaining.

"He...-" my words were cut short. I felt a strong stabbing pain in my lower back. I watched Jess take a step back looking scared. I could taste iron my blood dripped out the corner of my mouth and I looked behind me. Masaomi had stabbed me in the back. He must've had a hidden pocket knife. Shit.

"I said shut up." He pulled it out and I instinctively coughed spitting out blood. I fell to his knees.

"W-we have to stop the bleeding." Jessica stuttered coming towards me. I was touched. I wouldn't think she cares about me. I thought she'd be dying to back with Masaomi but she wants to stay and stop my bleeding. Masaomi doesn't deserve you Jess. But you I don't deserve you either.

"No we're leaving," Masaomi gripped her hand tightly and harshly pulled her out the room despite her cries of protest. My eyes locked with Jessica's as she left. I felt my knees go weak and I dropped to the floor and secretly wished she wouldn't go.

Shit if I don't stop this bleeding I might die. But it's in such a place I can't reach it, I don't know what I'm going to do. I could feel the blood oozing from my body and my eyes felt heavy. I slid onto the floor the world was spinning. Up was down. Left was right. My mind hazy. My consciousness fading. I had no energy to speak and move even my fingers. This is it. This is the end. I was glad I got to meet her though. Finally something nice happened to me. I was smiling but it didn't show on my face.

I could swear I heard footsteps near me but they felt so far away. Was it Masaomi? Has he come to finish me off? Or...no that was nothing more than a wish.

But there I saw, the last thing before my consciousness slipped away was a beautiful pink haired angel.
