Jessica's P.O.V.

It's been a week since I had sex with Kain. It felt so natural like it was nothing. I don't really regret it but I do feel terrible because I'm still technically dating Masaomi. And I just slept with a different man. And one he hates to the core.

He doesn't have to know...What am I saying of course he has to know. This is a predicament. I knew to talk to Blake about it. She'll know what to do. I miss her.

I walked into the shop that was fifteen minutes away from Kain's place. Corrin chased me out saying we needed groceries. I'm not a maid. I puffed out my cheeks and I bumped into someone.

"Oof." I stumbled back.

"Well look who the cat dragged in." My head bolted up.

"Blake!" I screamed as I flung my arms around her neck hugging her tight.

"I missed you so much." I said and felt her arms wrap around my back.

"Yeah. I've had some peace." Blake chuckled as she pulled away from me. She gave me a inquisitive look.

"I'm fine. Doing some shopping." She rasied an eyebrow. And I sighed.

"Yeah I know. I just need to figure out... some... things." Blake searched my eyes and her two coloured orbs; one light blue and one green darkened, her voice low.

"You slept with him. Didn't you?" I knew I couldn't keep it from her. I just nodded. Her eyes softened and she rubbed my shoulder, reassuring me.

"I won't say anything." A promise, I knew she would keep. Then she grabbed my hand.

"Lets get some coffee and chat for a while." Her eyes gleamed happily. I smiled my tail wagging excitedly.

So we went to the nearest coffee shop and talked for hours. I hardly noticed the time go by and when I looked outside the sun was going down. I looked back at Blake and she was already standing. Am I that easy to read? I smiled to myself.

"I'll see you soon." I said.

"Come hom le soon." She said as she left the shop. I just realized I still had to do shopping. So I went back to the shop.

I got the necessities; bread, milk, eggs, bacon, coffee, cheese and toliet paper.

I made my way back to Kain's house. I saw flashing lights in the distance near his house. As I neared I saw those flashing lights belonged to an ambulance, and it was right outside the house. In alarm I dropped my bag and sprinted. I saw Corrin and his face he was so, disdraught.

"Corrin!" I called. He turned in my direction.

"Jess," Corrin's voice broke and he looked away. I followed his gaze to see a body covered in a sheet, my blood went cold and my heart sank. I shook my head and demanded Corrin what happened.

"I-I dunno...I found him...he had-" I cut him off. I couldn't bare the words he was about to say.

Kain wouldn't do that. He was okay...or was that what I wanted to believe. But now I'll never know. All I can do is weep, I felt my knees go weak and I slipped to the ground. My tears blurred my vision.

I'll never see him again.
