Jessica's P.O.V.

I ran towards the one person that drove Masaomi crazy.

Kain.

This is where my running lead me. Right back to the place Masaomi took me from. But I couldn't stop myself. I was deathly worried about him. I had to make sure he was going to be alright.

I knelt down beside him and touched his hand, he was deathly cold. And there was blood everywhere. He's losing so much I have to stop the bleeding. What do I do? I couldn't stop the tears that welled up in my eyes. I need someone to help me, then I heard loud rushed steps. I looked up to see the same boy that gave me the food the past two days. I still couldn't get a name out of him.

"What the hell have you done?" The blue haired boy hissed at me reaching for the sowrd hanging at his side.

"I-I didn't do it," I stuttered as I moved away from Kain's. He didn't seem to trust me much but he ignored me sheathing his sword back into its scabbard. He knelt down on the ground and pushed Kain onto his back, I heard a faint groan pass Kain's lips. He ripped open his shirt to reveal a deep knife wound. He took out a bandage and glared at me, asking for an explaination as he tended to Kain.

"My boyfriend stabbed him." I meakly said.

"Dammit I knew it was a bad idea." The boy said as he finished wrapping the wound. I looked at the green eyed boy.

"Corrin, and he's going to be fine." I sighed in relief.

"Why are you here anyway?" Corrin lifted Kain onto his back.

"I...sorta, ran-"

"You ranaway from your boyfriend, to see if Kain was alright. Why?" He knew exactly what I wanted to say. Couldn't say it wasn't creepy. I quickly stood from the floor as he walked away. He was fast and graceful. He covered a lot of ground quickly. It was effort to keep up with him.

"Becasue I was worried." I called to him. He looked back at me doubtful as he opened a door.

"Worried or are you secretly here to finish him off?" I was shocked. This guy really didn't trust what I had to say and I was getting pissed. Corrin placed Kain's almost lifeless body on the bed that was in the room.

"Listen, if I wanted to finish him off I would've, so drop the attitude," I hissed. Corrin whipped his head around and I could see fire in his eyes.

"No, I will not," he walked towards me and instinctively I went backwards until my back hit the wall. I couldn't help but gasp, "I owe Kain my life and I swore I would protect him. So for some girl who barely knows him says she's 'worried' that doesn't particularly bode well with me."

I could see the sincerity in his eyes, and I felt bad. I understand how he feels.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know." I said truthfully and I think Corrin could see that because he sighed and backed off.

"I'm going to get him medicine. Do anything stupid and I'll kill you," I didn't get a chance to reply before Corrin disappeared down the hall.

My eyes wondered over to Kain's sleeping form. My body moved on its own. I knelt on the bed beside him and held his hand praying he would be okay.
