Adeliza
She can't be dead. She was meant to live. She was so bright, so vibrant. She was such a strong person. Most people don't know, but her father (he will always be Lorinda's father, not president to me) wasn't an easy person to live with. He told her what to think, what to feel. He was very closed minded, and hated anyone who disagreed. For Lorinda to remain so innocent, so unblemished was a feat in itself. I didn't understand what she meant about the games being bad. They just were. But now I know. She would hate it, the fuss, when the games were going on, and there was no mourning for the dead tributes.
She used to mourn them, though. Everyone who died. The victor, too. For their loss of humanity, for the part of them that would be lost forever. For the part of their soul that disappeared. It should have been me. She was too good, too pure. I'm just as bad as everyone else. Adeliza was a coward. She would never speak out...
No! She did something. She did some brilliant, brave, stupid thing. In public. But that means... her father would kill her if she became a threat. Poison, maybe. Giving it to himself, too, to avoid suspicion. God, no. It can't be. If it was, she was in a lot of danger.
